This is a scam/joke

I just received an email from this person asking for boat towing and repair.  I own a bookstore....

JUST RECEIVED THE 300 GUEST CHICKEN SANDWICH SCAM. THE QUICK AUTO REPLY WAS A GIVE AWAY FROM SOMEONE RECOVERING IN A HOSPITAL FROM EAR SURGERY. NEVER MENTIONED THE NAME OF THE COMPANY FOR THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY, AND HE REPEATED THE PICK UP TIME AND DATE 4 TIMES.....BIZARRE. I DID RESPOND IN CASH IT WAS A HEARING IMPAIRED YELPER....LOL

I too just reported all my info regarding this to the FBI

Apperantly this scammer is still at it. I also just recieved an email from an Andy Washko asking for an order for 300 to be picked (said 35 minutes from my restaurant), lol, we don't have a restaurant. Written in poor language and from someone named Debbie Williams' email address. (I was blind cc'ed). It was wierd and vague so I googled Andy Washko before responding and found you guys. Seems identical to the catering requests you guys were recieving last year. Seriously? who falls for this stuff?

I got the exact same email for an order of 300 sandwiches and sides...which is pretty amazing since my company manufacturers skin care! I did a Google on the email address and it brought me here.

Andy Wasko is still in the hospital from an ear surgery, using Debbie Miller's email and needs 300 chicken sandwiches for his party. He will pick it up, but adds the helpful information that the delivery point is just 35 minutes from my store.

Holy crap!  I also received this email from an Andy Washko recovering from ear surgery and asking for chicken sandwiches with sides for 300 people.  The poor grammer prompted me to google the name...glad I did!

Same thing happened in Chicago. Wanted 300 sandwiches for 10/14. Told him we don't have box lunches. Long story short wanted me to bill him $1800 for truck delivery via his coordinator thru western union. Told him if his coordinator wanted to be paid by him to have them contact me directly to "coordinate". No response.

I just got the same thing!!! They did not call, but did e-mail from debbieswill@gmail.com. He gave me the address of another local business as his mailing address, and I called that business who obviously knew nothing about this "300 person event"! We were supposed to send $1800 via western union to his "private shipping company". Such a scam! It drives me nuts, people being so sneaky and preying on caterers & event centers!!!!! UGH!

No phone call but just got similar email looking for boat engine repair from disabled hear impaired person recovering from surgery (Andy Washko) but sent from supposedly Angela Williams (angelaswill@gmail.com) wanting to ship his boat cross country to us for repair ...and pay with credit card.

I own a small BBQ restaurant in the LA area.  Just recieved an email from this Andy Washko with the debbiewill@gmail email address.  Same thing, 300 sandwiches and sides, not items on our menu.

I have been contacted by both andy  and debbie will Caterers watch out dont waste your time quoting this I did, should bill these idiots for my time Haha   WATCH OUT THERES LOTS OF PEOPLE DOING THIS EVERY WHERE!!!!!!!!!!

Same 300 sandwiches order here.  Very poor grammar got me to Google search before responding, that got me here.  Glad I trusted my instincts.

Received an email for 300 sandwiches and sides.  Never gave me a phone number, but email address is under Debbie Williams.  Also, wanted a check thru Western Union for $1800.  Gave me a Discovery Card for payment #, however, I emailed back for more info on address, etc.  Never responded back.  I played along with it thru 3 emails, but had a gut feeling it was all a scan.  That is when I looked Andy Washko up thru google.  Read your comments.  Thanks everyone for taking the time to post this scan.

got an email regarding same 300 person order. we are a CAMERA rental house. i politely told them to go elsewhere.

Been working via email address with an Andy Washko who's recovering from ear surgery ~ catering for 300 sandwiches with sides.  Debbie Williams is the email addressee.  Again, lots of poor grammar ~ sounds similiar to scam for smoked pork sandwiches to be delivered via carrier to Memphis!  Restaurants & caterers beware - in this economy we can't afford to get scammed!  Thanks to everyone for the info - hope this helps someone else.

Just got the same e-mail for 300 sandwiches with sides.  Wanted to add $1800 for his shipper and wire themoney through western union.  Stay away.  Obvious scam.

We went through this and was asked to send $1800 western union to a Shipper by the name of Fred Vialpando in Cortez, Colorado  tel 206-337-5583 and an e-mail of gertbacoonltd@yahoo.com. They used multiple credit cards.  Dotty Hank was the contact person

Just received the same fax as above. SCAM in capital letters. We don't do any repair work on cars either.

Just rec'd fax from this phone number. Looked online & looks like this is a scam.  He gave an email address of Andywashkoinc@gmail.com and another fax number in the fax of 206-338-1377.
What he wants is for us to pay someone for towing a car to us & then he will pay us for that and the work we will do by credit card.  
The guy is an idiot, because we don't work on cars.

One more time!!  I am reporting this activity to the FBI because this came through my website originally.  This MUST be stopped!!
