Called me and said I owed some cash advance co and I would be prosecuted
and the penalty was $10,000! I finally laughed this j*** off and told hi to F himself
and send me the lawsuit papers. What a scam

They called me and said that I owed 9000.00 for penalties and the money. When I ask them when I took the loan they didn't know, and didn't know the amount that was the original loan I didn't take. I told them I would see them in court. Haven't heard from them since.

Tried calling multiple times throughout the night and received the "line is not in service" message. It miraculously rang this morning and I spoke to a "representative" today. He asked the name of the "officer" that I had spoken to. Claimed that I had taken out a payday loan online (I've never taken out a payday loan in my life) and that I failed to pay it back. It was a courtesy call to explain that they would file legal "papers" tomorrow morning and I would receive documentation in the mail within 21 days. He had my address and last four digits of my SSN. He asked if I preferred to settle out of court. I asked the conditions and was informed that I was being ed for $727 but could settle out of court for $527 and would receive documentation explaining that I was free of all debt to this company. I laughed and explained that I would rather them prosecute. He said thanks and hung up. Its concerning that they had my personal information and I will be investigating how it could be that I allowed it to get out.

Received a two messages on my phone (though it never rang) and a message at work. The message was borderline unintelligible but I was able to make out attorney, time-sensitive and then good luck and god bless at the end. When I tried to return the call the number, (415) 363-0097, was disconnected. F U Steve Anderson.

He has my social security number. My credit is almost perfect. Think it's a scam but worried because he has my social.

Well i gone through them and i found out this is a team of Special investigation beauro which actually works for F.I.B and my brother is in jail now. Even i thought they are scammers but it was true god help my brother from this... so before you do any mistakes do go through then think about they are scamming you.. this are not scammer's as far i know

Keith, he actually stopped by your work? I find that hard to believe, considering the fact that this team of scammers are all from the middle east. Its a nationwide scam to try to scare people into paying for defaulted payday loans that they never actually took out. The bought people's personal info from a broker & are trying to scare you with threats of legal action......Did he tell you that a case has been filed against your name in court? He said that to me & wouldn't even give me the name of number of the "original creditor", so I could call & verify his story. Don't get scammed into giving these people anything.

its a scam and just tell them you dont owe anything and you have reported them to the FBI and local authorities. they are just trying to get money from folks like us. they are all overseas!!

I received three consecutive calls after advising to not call me and he said he would be at my home to arrest me and he said I didn't understand English. I cannot find enough info to report to the attorney general. I need assistance.
