5:30pm, "home safety" on CID. This time I say hello, some guy wants to install a free home security system, usual BS.
I say why do I want to do business with you, when there are plenty of local people to do the same thing. He hangs up.

I keep getting calls every day for weeks now. I don't answer & they don't leave a message. However it's annoying as they call at inconvenient times ....such as driving in traffic....etc
I'm in Michigan and wouldn't expect anyone from California to be calling me.

4:45pm. CID says Home Safety. I push talk button, but don't say a word, nothing. Wait. In 5 seconds it hangs up and I get dial tone.
I average one or two calls a week selling home security systems. Must be the latest big scam in their world.

Courtney, if you call the phone number back, you get a recorded message but (hopefully it works) you get the option to have your phone number added to the list of DO NOT CALL people. It takes 48 hours according to the message but maybe, just maybe, you can get your phone number off their calling list. There are ways to outsmart these calls, you just have to get creative. And if they don't stop calling you, start annoying them with nonsense and soon enough to will get fewer calls from them. I speak from experience.

If you toy with them enough, you can cause their computer assisted program to glitch and then it will hang up on you as it just doesn't know what to do. I get calls from this number as well as several others and they all use the same computer assisted voice program. Just keep asking them questions about is this a live person. Will the person I speak to be a live person. It helps if you have a toddler at home asking you questions while you are on the phone with them. You explain to you child that you are speaking to a computer and keep telling them that. It causes the program to malfunction and start repeating itself. If you can't use your own voice to try to sell me something, I can toy with your computer assisted voice program. Sounds fair to me! : )

Just received this call after we didn't answer a call from 612-567-8948, caller ID, "HOMESECURITY."  This caller ID was "HOME SAFETY," and it's possibly the same people using a different number.

Children's protective service?

This phone # just called my office #, which happens to be a federal government phone.

Multiple calls day and night. Complete nuisance.

Called my wireless number.  Did not recognized the area code, let alone the number.  So I did not answer.  Left no message.

We have been receiving calls from this number every 2 minutes for the last hour. The man says his name is James and he wants to put a sign in our yard to advertise a home security system.  We have asked him to stop calling and he keeps calling anyway.

I get repeated calls from this number I refuse to answer it. to many ways off shore scam artists can bill your number for Big$$$  just ignore it.

Just called me, didn't leave a msg.

Caller ID says San Francisco CA. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Who ever it was started to leave a message, got just a few words into message then hung up. The person started off saying hello, repeated hello and said his name ( I don't remember his name) and then said he was from children's protective services. That's when he hung up. What the heck ?????? This call came out of California , I live in Nevada. I have no reason for them to be calling me. I have no family in California and know no one in CA.
