a guy named rey white with meddleast accent left a message on my cell phone and told me to reply right away because if i did not reply then i will face consequences and maybe going to jail. he said that he,s calling from harrison law firm and he used this #646-3403450. i hope this guy will be cought.

I just received that same phone call but the name used was Sean and the phone number was a majic jack line  619-704-9969. Very Rude and from the middle east

I have had at least three phone calls from a man who says his name is Justin Davis, and said he is an attorney with Harrison Law Firm.  I asked him where he was located, and he said San Rafael, CA.  This man uses the name of Justin Davis, and he sounds very authoritative, very convincing, etc..  He said I owed a figure over $380, from a cash advance compnay he claims owns over 100 cash advance companies.  I asked him to send me the info of the company I owed money to, and he said, because the company has over 100 cash advance outlets, he could not do that.  
When the time came for me to send in part one (of a three part payment), this man gave me the name of a woman in Pennsylvania to send the money to--by Western Union.
I instantly smelled a rat, and said to him on the phone that it was a SCAM.  He insists it is a real debt that I owe, and would be taken to court if this money is not sent in according to his advice.  Previous to this he asked me to send a Fax to him about the payment plan.  I ALMOST fell for this guy's game.  Please be aware of him.  I  believe they are getting the info they have on everyone who is writing here from applications for cash advances on the internet--and perhaps other similar sources, as well.  The phone number this man called me on was 530-876-6519, which is different from the other number mentioned on this site, BUT it is exactly the same story and pitch.

Thank God for Google!  Just found this site from a search on Harrison Law Firm.  My caller was a "Jimmy Johnson" with poor grasp on the English language.  Said he has my name, SSN and a law suit against me, did I know what this is about?  Told him to "Send me a letter".  Put me on with his "supervisor" who threatened me.  Told him, "Send me a letter" and hung up.  They called back immediately (caller ID #911 which made me pick up the phone in the first place) and left a threatening message.

Don't be fooled!  Get it in writing!

I got this call today... same number as above 917-310-9396, saying they were John Johnson of Harrison Law Firm in NY. Generally  I tend to question the legality of a call when I have a middle eastern voice with an as American as they come name so I did a reverse phone looked up on the number and it came up as a cell... that's strike number 2, no real lawyer is going to intially call you from a cell... then I typed in Harrison Law Firm scam and this is what I found. Not that i really believe the guy in the first place but this makes it a lot easier to ignore the calls.

I live in Denver Colorado and I received a call from them! Their new number is 917-310-9396 and they are total scam artists! I asked them for the details of this suit against me and the man called me a criminal (even though I do fugitive recovery for the state) and said they would take my drivers license and social security number if I didn't pay $600. If they contact you call the state general attorney and report them ASAP and your bank immediately!!!! Do not give this company any information at all!!!!!!

Today the call was from Mike Vill at 607-831-7401 claiming to represent David & Harrison law firm threating to throw me in jail if I didn't pay.

I have had 3 different middle eastern people saying they were officers call me at work asking for very high rates of payback amounts along with saying they were going to get me fired. Does anyone know how to take care of these idiots?

I have been getting phone calls from this number and other multiple numbers from a guy claiming that he is Peter Williams and that he is in love me and how I am the love of his life. If this is a prank how did he get my name? address? phone number? My husband spoke to him and all this guy says is that he knows where we live and he is coming to our house. This is a sick prank and I have contacted the Local Police Dept and filed a report. This guy has an Indian/Pakastan Accent. This makes me sick that he can use a phone scrambler and get away with this. Yes, I am worried because I can change my phone number but my address I can't. This is Harassment!

The number these scammers use are MagicJack accounts (100% confirmed). Magic Jack should be doing something to address this! 253-236-6033 is also them, as well as many other numbers I am sure. I believe they have the calls routhed to them in India or some other foreign country, but that is just my suspicion. FYI you can *67 prank call them all day for kicks if you are bored... I got them to shut down one of their phone lines (253) 236-6030 after setting up an autodialer to call it constantly.

For "Call Type" on this website, there is no option for "Fraud" or "Scam," so I put this as a "prank call." These guys are not debt collectors... they are dirty smelly Easy Indian thieves.

I've gotten 4 calls in the past week. Same thing. Phone # today was 530 661 8506. He said if I didn't pay today, I'd lose my job, benefits, and house. I can't believe people believe this stuff. Caller ID read Woodland, CA. Last time they called he was with Oak Grove Law Firm. Then put himself on hold and came back to the line with a different name - the senior atty. I did do an online application for a loan and one of the matches I got seemed like a shady kind of place. I'm wondering if this is where he got his information.

Now these scammers eric watson, shaun tyler, david brown are calling from a different # now. Claiming to be calling from Harrison Law Firm in kent, Washington, but I had to go to court in CA.  They couldn't give me a website address, nor their person all address.  I told them I wanted to bring the payment to them and talk with the Attorney.  But he forgot  the attorney name that he gave me the 1st time.  These people should be put under the jail for trying to scam people out of money. They now have a 253-236-6033 phone #  I told him really a law firm with as a majic jack customer.

I also received this call on my government work phone, how funny is that.  i also received it by this number 408-459-2291 and by a guy named David Banner he sounds like he from the middle east as well. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!

I got a barely audible call from a "John Anderson" (but it could have been John Peterson") of a Harrison Law Firm.  He said something about a fraud claim against "your company."  He left a 347 286 7187 call back number, but the incoming call showed as 212 600 5422.    I googled these names and found postings on this site regarding these same names but calling from 415 366 9596.  They have apparently used other names as well, Max Jordan and David Brown, but usually mentioning the Harrison Law Firm

WOW everyone be very careful this people called me at work, call my husband's cell and my cell  they Claim to be Harrison Law Firm. They told me I was been sue by a loan company this is the number they gave me to called to  253-236-6033. when my husband called back it answer as jet setter company not a law firm. They got my social and my email address, hey someone got to get there hands on these guys!!!!!!! I hope the FBI or whomever take notes on this,  who knows how many people have been scam already. My credit sucks!! so they would not be able to do nothing with it. But is very scary that they are extrangers with my personal information.

The same person called me on yesterday and tried this same thing on me.  I reported this to the BBB in my local area.

I got a call at work today as well from a scumbag calling himself Joe Carder from Harrison Law Firm, phone # 530-661-8506. I too was threatened with being arrested if I didn't take care of this debt right away. A message was left on my cell that said my social security # was under federal investigation. First of all, I'm not involved in any lawsuit, second, this idiot couldn't even name the company or the amount I'm being sued for. And these middle easterners are all using American names, go figure. Its a scam people, we all need to do what it takes to turn these freaks in to the authorities & have them arrested. Please don't give in to these vermon, do what you can to get them caught & hopefully arrested.

this number  called my personal phone as well as my work telling me to give them my atm card info because i owed a "usa loans" 200 dollars. they claimed to be a law firm, but the guy sounded like they were from the middle east.

A guy who identifies himself as calling from a Harrison Law firm in CA has called several times from 415-366-9596 as well as a few other numbers as well. He confirms my social security number over the phone. I did not give it to him. I did call back, however, and he did answer as said law firm, but when I asked his name he said it was John Peterson. He said his name was Peter Williams another call.
He is pushy and speaks with an East Indian accent.
How he obtained my personal information is a mystery.
He said that a lawsuit had been taken out in my name.

Yes they have called my number as well saying they were from Harrison Law firm.  He said his name was David Brown and they had a law suit filed against me.  When I asked for them to mail me the information he said it was already downloaded to the state of California.  This is totally a scam

I just received a call from phone # 415 366 9596 stating his name was John Peterson from Harrison Law Firm he gave me four diffrent SSN#  I then knew hat this was indeed was a scam.

I received a voice mail at my office from "Max Jordan" with the legal department at Harrison & ? (inaudible---was clearly next to train tracks and had a heavy accent) stating a friend of mine (who I have never heard of) had comitted fraud, was found guilty and was trying to get away.  The person said I had been used as a primary reference and if I did not call back I would have problems in the future.

i had a loan through cash advance usa for 200.00 the montel williams add thought it was ok, on 8-19-2010 i get a call from my son who i only used as o reference saying a man called him from Harrison Law Firm named John Petterson saying he was the primary on the loan and if he did not give him a pmt of 300.00 dollars right then he would be thrown in jail for 3 months and he demanded his debit card info and credit card number. Not knowing what to do cause he was afraid of going to jail he gave info, he had nothing to do with this loan he was only a reference. Noone has made ant attempts to contact me by mail or phone for repmt of this loan and i have made pmts on this loan so there is no justifiable reason anyone should go after a referece for pmt. He also was caught in a number of lies while we were on the phone. so who is this so called John Petterson who sounds like he is from the middle east claiming to know the law but cant quoate anything from the law book?

I recieved a phone call form this guy who claimed to be John Peterson a lawyer. He first wanted to know did I have a lawyer, then he told me that I owed a loan company over $600.00. He had an Indian accent. He called me on my job and insisted that I write an apology letter, then he began to instruct me as to what words I should use. He insisted that I should buy a ATM card from Wal-Mart , place the money on the card, and pay Him...not the loan company. He claimed that if I did not do this I would wind up going to court paying fees up to $5,000.00. This did not sound kosher at all.I checked  his phone number online, then ran his name, then his so-called law firm and I recieved this notices from other customers! Is this guy for real!!!! ? Or what?!!! He said his number was 415-524-4447 and that his fax no. was 206-333-0022. What is going on!

I also received a call from these people and they said that it was from a Harrison Law firm. The man has all of my info but I don't know how, he said that he couldn't give me any info on the phone or fax me the info .I wonder how they got all of my information.

i also got a call from them at work with the same spill and the phone number 415-524-4447 and fax 206-333-0022 that fax is in Seattle and the number is in CA, they had all of my info and when I tried to get him to fax me info he just said that they don't do that . I filed a compliant with the FTC and contacted the different credit bureaus to put a identity theft freeze on my credit.

All this information fits, he just called me all the identical sayings, numbers everything. Here is the number that he called me from 530-230-9555 and a fax number of 206-333-0022 another one to add to the list. John Peterson of Harrison law firm. I called him back and asked that he email me information on letter head and his ID. I told him that I did not know who he was and I wanted him to prove it. I also told him that I Googled him and that it was not good. He asked why I did that, he then did it his self and said that that was not his phone number or anything. He tried to tell me that it was not him. I then told him that he was not getting any information from me or money that I was calling Cashnet/ApplyAdvanceAmerica in the morning. He then told me fine that if I didn't pay him now with fax and card number that he will have the Sheriff at my door at work in the morning. I told him fine do it, all I have to do is tell them that you refused to prove who you were if you are really who you say you are. He then said that I would receive an email in about 10 mins, never received it.
