This is untrue. I applied for a job via e-mail and they won't stop calling to solicit me.

Yes, it's Clean Water Action.  They come door-to-door every year - I support the cause, but the incessant (and rude) phone calls just killed my support for them - they have been very nasty to my wife when they call, as they only wish to speak to me (go figure).  They'll not get another dime from me, I've blocked their number, and I'm looking forward to greeting them with this news the next time they show up at my door.

Phone number (415) 369-9160, under name "Clean Water Act" has called my work line thrice.  Once on December 30th at 6:30pm; once on January 2nd at 6:30pm, and then again that day at 8:00pm.  Left no messages.

This is a legitimate company. A young man to my door a while back with literature on their organization. I donated like $10 or something and now receive phone calls on occassion from them. They are not a scam, and no, it's not Obama trying to get our numbers...

They are a great organization. They only call people who sign up with them at their door, so if you pick up your phone and tell them you're not interested, they will take you off their membership roster.

This number frequently calls me at work (in San Rafael, CA), in the evening when I'm not there to answer.

I've asked them to take me off their list over and over again. They've called twice this week. Don't give them money!

I finally answered it and the girl was very nice. I donated money to them again and next year I'll try and remember whose number it is!

Call every nights around 7pm.  Dont answer so I dont know who it is but probably a telemarketer.

They've been hounding me for years! They've even come to my door @ 8 pm at night when there is a sign on my building that says "NO SOLICITING."  They are agressive & very rude.

These people called me at 9:30 at night! Unacceptable.

Yeah, someone called me from that number then hung up.  My advice, find a better charity to support.
