We use AT&T pay-per-call. I can confirm that the number is from AT&T pay-per-call. AT&T uses several different media partners. Most of them can pass the caller ID through to your call center. But there are some that cannot. If you get a call from one of their partners that cannot pass through the caller ID, they use a placeholder number of 415-373-0000.
It is not a prank. You are receiving calls from this number because you are an advertiser on AT&T pay-per-call or because someone is using your phone number in error in their ads.

They called me stating that her name was Lashawn calling on behalf of Windsor for Ron Jon's Surf Shop. They had renovations and wanted to invite guests out to look around at the changes. They said if we show up, we get a $25 gas card, $25 dining card, and a 3 day/2 night stay anywhere within 1 year of approved hotels. they asked for my name/spouse's name/ email address and phone number. they did not ask for credit card info or any real person information. they said to look for the email and come by on Saturday at 2pm. I'm not sure if its a scam yet or not.

I was thinking the same. They get or pay people to make these calls and not only do they look like leads they are using up your pay per call bank! I brought that up directly to our marketers . . . ? they don't know anything. Wonder how this could be proven this is a potental scam on dollars that people are paying advertising for!

Im not sure we have received calls from this number too - it was advertising offer - the call came in saying ATT Pay Per call. Im not too sure but our business pays for ATT Pay per call advertising. Seems like most of the calls that come in are call junk calls. In addition to that - some callers that call from other numbers are surprized when we answer and they comment that wasn't what they had asked for - who ? operator? I have no idea. But I really hope this isn't a scam set up to those subscribing to Pay Per call. If that is what it is they are taking PPC dollars with scam calls

Just received a call from this #. The person just left a heavy, frustrated sigh as a message. I went to the website "Telephone Call IDentification" and the company is ATT Pay Per Call.

This number has called me three times; once with the voice of a little girl asking if the girl scout club was open, the other 2 times no answer when I answered the phone. My guess is that it's someone attempting to rack up fees on our advertising bid; either inside or a competitor.

It seems like this number is affiliated with some prank to business I am not sure what is going on I get a call every couple weeks from the same number. What i can figure out is that it is a scam from one of the marketing companies used. The whole point is to make volume at your call profile and then the marketing company tells you that you have been receiving leads
