Registered complaints with FCC and www.donotcall.gov
As of October 16, 2013l new FCC rules have tightened restrictions on these sorts of unwanted calls. "Any telemarketing calls placed to wireless customers using an ATDS (Automated Telephone Dialing System?)  or any prerecorded telemarketing messages delivered to wireless or residential landlines without obtaining prior express written consent of the customer will likely incur TCPA liability."  

"Diane" personal number is (949) 306-7572, it's a California cell phone. Definitely a scam, call and find out who they are. We're the only ones who will stop them from calling. DNC list is ineffective.

"Diane" calls at least twice a week.

Just received the call to my cell phone which is on the No Call list. This is illegal.

wow, so all these calls from 415-373-0664 have been happening this week.  I'm never going to give out my cell phone number again!  I just received a missed call from this phone number on my cell (I"m an AT&T customer).  I'm also on the DO NOT CALL list.

Received call on cell 03/06/08 - no message left - am on the Don't Call List - filed complaint with FCC.

I am on the Do Not Call List.  Received a call to my cell also - logged as a missed call, no message.  Will file a complaint with FCC.

Got a call from that number this morning. I am on the do not call and I filled a complaint, thanks to the link in another comment. I hope enough people do that they get shut down.

I just received the same type of call at 11:40am 3/10/08. I pressed 1, told them they were calling a do not call number and that I wanted to be removed from the list. They hung up on me. I have filed a complaint.

I got a partial spam call on my cell phone from this number.  It said to press 1 if I want carpet cleaning.  Of course, it was automated, because my phone was off and it went to voicemail.  That's how I captured the number.  My phone is on the Do Not Call Registry.  I will file a complaint.  The message also sounded familiar from other phones that I have.

Once, when I answered one of the carpet cleaning calls (may or may not have been this one), I pressed "1" and got a live person.  I tried to find out what company and she said they work for several companies.  When I asked what their location was, she accidentally told me the city name.  I forget which one it was, but when I Googled it, there was only one and it was Back East!  These people are slime!!!

Me too, I got a call from them yesterday on my cell phone that is on the donotcall list. Filed a complaint on the FCC website.

Just received a called from that number as well. I didn't answer and no message left. I'm on the Do Not Call list!

Robot caller called my call phone.  It was Diane offering a deal on carpet cleaning.  I pressed 1 to make an appointment and when someone answered I asked to be taken off the list and they hung up on me.

Exactly as above. Can't find their name to call them back.

They called my business line---left a message half cut off, from Diane at Carpet Care. Spam & should be stopped

Same as above. Call came in on my cell. I missed it. They left no message. I tried to call back--it was busy. Googled the number, and found this.

Yep - same here - all of the above.  Doesn't accept phone calls.  Called my cell phone. First spam to my cell phone I've ever received. Bizarre.  Will we ever have protection?

Same as all the above. They hung up when I told them not to call me.  Logged a complaint with the FCC.

called 12:20 Pm today on my wife's cell phone. "As a thank you for us listening" (like we ad any choice :( ) offered a free hallway cleaning "to make sure that we join list" of their satisfied customers. Add to thatt that my wife called our housekeeper 20 before that, was Crazy!

They keep calling my cell phone and not leaving a message, even though I am registered with the "do not call" list.

These a**holes have been calling me constantly for months.  This is the first time I got CID off them.  I filed a DNC complaint.

Called all THREE of my home numbers and BOTH my mobile numbers

forwarded the call to my cell phone's voicemail...but of course....no message was left.....then i tried to call the number back....it has been a constant busy signal for the whole day!!!!!!!!  They don't even have the backbone to let me contact them!!@!

Just received a call from Carpet Care Diane from cell #308-201-5456  held on to get company name and phone #. When I asked for the phone # she hung up. I also tried to call back the cell # and it said the phone was disconnected, but i'm on the no call list and I'm reporting this company.

I am also a victim. I am the person who has had the phone number 415 373-0664 since May 2008. I am NOT a Telemarketer and do not work for Carpet Care. I have gotten irrate phone calls from some of you and you do not know how much it concerns me to linked with a telemarketing group. I HATE them. I have a call in to the phone guy for my company and I am hoping he can figure this out. How is my caller id coming up on a Carpet Care number? My phone is an IP phone and I don't know if this makes any difference or not. I don't want to change numbers because I have business cards printed. I tried calling the Carpet Care 1 800 number but got a not able to access form this number message. If any of you have any suggestions, please let me know.

I actually just got the same call as the rest of you above from Carpet
Care. I too am on the Do-Not-Call list and have been since 2003. I did
what some of the other callers above have done, "Hit #1 to schedule an
appointment."  But, when I got through to the operator I sounded HAPPY,
I said, "Oh I'm SO GLAD to get your call, I've been meaning to make an
appointment but don't have time right now - can I get your number so I can call back to schedule an appointment later?" - The woman gave me Carpet
Care's # (888) 241-6353!!!

I promptly went to the Do-Not-Call List www.donotcall.gov and filed a
complaint.  If you are getting calls from Carpet Care, please make sure
to file a complaint when you get one!  Feel free to use my approach above!

Calls are coming from Global Crossing Inc, resold by Level 3 communications. Their fraud line is 800-348-5457. Call them to report it and they will remove your number.  AutomatedDiane has been calling my cell a lot, and when I pressed one for the special carpet offer, got a live woman and asked for a supervisor to remove my number from the list, she hung up on me. The guy at 800-348-5457 wasn't happy about having to remove my number, but he claims he did it.  Their recording while you wait is a hoot, it provides many ways to deliver subpoenas to their Colorado location! By fax, by email, by candygram!  Bill Lockyer our last CA Attorney General set up a great nationwide Do Not Call list - 888-382-1222 GlobalCrossing- Level 3 have paid small fines for violating this list in the past. IF they get more fines, they may stop running up our cell bills  constantly with these autocalls.
