When i received a call from GMA It came as a recording first.They said a court date was set up . i received no paperwork. The caller who answered when i called back was rude and threatening.However they kept calling back could not get an address. Finally had to tell them i neded it for a lawsuit. They hungup so far have nt heard anything from them. They have threatened to freeze my bank account. Now the letters i recieved before the calls state that because of the length of the debt collections time has expired in which they can sue.So whats up with that? I have recently suffered a stroke and cannot put up with this Harrasment. WHAT DO I DO?????

I received a call from this number as well, the message that was left stated I am to receive a summons for chec fraud that was commited. I go the message at 10 a.m. CST, it is almost 3 p.m. no process server yet. Did a reverse look up on the number it came from San Francisco. So the summons should be here in a day or two.....lmao! I know their shtick, a summons is being delivered to you for a criminal case that has filed against you.....the summons thing is the new threat. Folks should know, your never contacted first before you receive a summons. BTW, the lady who answered stated her name was Mrs Wiggums....hmmmm anyone remember Tim Conway's secretary form The Carol Burnett Show? His character Mr. TUdball?

My poor brother keeps getting calls from this number, I asked how long had it been going on he said for 2 years now, they wont give out any info except that I have used him as info and that it is a fraud charge,that I was to be Fraulein to Social Security. I just called the number and a recording of a man came on askng  for a case number,then a woman came on and that's when I hung up. What can I do to help my poor brother from getting these calls?

i  got a call today these people are mean and trying to scare you.  i never call them back because i get so angry.  i dont owe them anything.

I got the same issues and The previously complaints all they get is my answer machine. Waiting to be served in Maryland these people are illegal so bring Maryland is ready. Me to if you borrow $200 you to pay back $700wow so lame ans crazy. We need to ban togather put them out of business. Federal government is on alert so everyone just let them know.they will investiagte

Got a call from GMA. Very rude and trying to intimidate. Not happening on my end. When I asked who, what and where was the company I was told GMA. When I pressed the question again Tammy hung up on me. Go ahead call me again. Make my day. 415-449-9977. The US attorney general should put these types out of biz.

I finally called them back even though I knew I shouldn't because I always get mad at these scammers. Unfortunately, I have been dealing with scam payday loan collectors for three years. My information was sold to someone or hacked when I took a legitimate loan, which I repaid long ago. I get calls every few weeks from different fake companies and sometimes real firms who have had the misfortune to purchase made-up debt.  The caller always has misinformation (wrong address, wrong social, wrong bank account, wrong birthday) that has been filled in by someone.

This caller was with the legal dept. I asked for the company for whom she worked and she said GMA, Goldman and Associates. When I inquired if it was a law firm, she said yes. When I asked for the contact information, she refused to provide it. What law firm doesn't give out contact info? She stated they were in my state (not even near CA). I then asked her why I was instructed to call a San Francisco number. She said the process server called me from there. I reminded her I just called in on this number. She made an excuse they had lots of numbers. I inquired in different states?

She quickly changed to the charges filed against me. She had wrong bank information as the account in question was correct but closed years before that "loan" was taken.  (No recent activity). I told her I have never had a loan with that company either. She insisted someone did and I owed the money because it was my info. As I started to argue with her and request written documentation, she interrupted me and told me I was just going to be served. Then, she started to rattle off some random address, which was not mine.  I told her to go ahead and serve me there because that address doesn't exist in my county or city (I googled it and we live in a small town so I know it doesn't exist).

Please don't pay these people anything unless you have written documentation. I am waiting for my "summons" with details on the loan I never had.

They called for my daughter. This is the third phone call I have gotten this week, but from different numbers regarding serving her.

Called them back and asked why they had 2 people call and leave threatening messages on my phone. They instructed me they did not know who they were or how to get in touch with them. I explained I was not doing any business over the phone, to please mail me something in writing and I will be happy to address the problem. Turns out they stated they already had, which is a LIE, and because they did, they were not going to send another. Said the process server was on his/her way to my home to serve me. They are using the name of a legitimate Law Firm in San Francisco (Goldman and Associates). I called them and notified that the name of the company was being used to threaten and intimidate people. Under advice of an attorney, I asked for a letter and until then I will not make a payment that may or may not be mine.

I have tried to find out who this company is.  All I get is that it is a company based in the SF/Oakland area.
It is probably some collections agency who buys old accounts that are beyond the collection period.
