The call came from new York city

My daughter had some one call and did the same thing to her. We paid these people 1000.00  my money is now gone I need help who do I call.

Just got a call from a man , saying 7 years of unpaid taxes are due in the amount of $2700.00 .I need to make payment today . I ask him why I haven't got a letter from the I R S he said no letter will go out to me .that was the first thing that gave him away .when I ask for more info he just told me I better pay or police are coming to arrest me.I hung up on him . this number is not the I R S ...

We have received several calls from Robert Williams of the the Tax Litigation Department claiming that we have a tax deficiency and that we, or our attorney, needs to call back or we run the risk of a lawsuit. He has our name and references a file number 564701.

The caller, Robert Williams, has a foreign accent.

Received a call from 415 251 7622 - TODAY - Feb 3, 2013 doing this same scam.  Have reported to the Federal Trade Commission and initiated Fraud Alert with Trans Union!    SHUT THESE SCAMMERS DOWN!

I received a call at my business, my husband took the call, the lady with a very foreign accent told him I was under investigation by the IRS and I was to call 415-223-11836 and ask for Kenneth Webster. This is definitely a scam, I have talked to the IRS on the phone before and when they call back they are identified as the IRS on caller ID.

Call from 415-691-7195.  Said he was with the "Internal Revenue Service Department" and that I should call back immediately because there was a problem with my tax return.  4 calls.  I did not return.

I received the same type of IRS call from Patrick Williams with the heavy accent except it is from phone number: 415-484-8569

Kenneth Webster call my today from 415-484-8549, but told me to call 415-691-7195

He was in court, and you weren't notified?  And this, from the "IRS?"  Boy, these scammers really don't even try.

Kenneth Webster called today at my home, and told me he was from the IRS.  He was in court and won a judgement against me for thousands of dollars for back taxes. Number that showed up on caller i.d was 415-4-4-8549, but the number I was to call and talk to Kenneth Webster was 415-691-7195

I received a call at 12.30 pm from a guy named Ken Parker. His accent was very strong, i could hardly understand him. I did get scared for a minute then my common sense kicked in. He said he was from the IRS and that there was also a deficiency in my tax return and that I should call back to avoid illegal action against me on the voicemail. He gave me a number to call him at 415-484-48569. He gave me too many numbers and he said it twice! These are dumb scammers. I agree thank god for the internet so we can look stuff like this up before getting scammed.

I keep getting the same call from this person.  He speaks in broken English and falsely represents himself as being an IRS agent...  I can't don't answer his calls any more, but he keeps calling.

Both the FTC & FCC are small, not many folks work in those offices to cover the whole US. Some of these scammers are consistently on the move the phone numbers spoofed others in foreign country's. It takes time sadly.  Even with the ones who just may be legit, they need to have time to put together enough evidence to shut them down and charge them.

It happens.. Even some of the ones in foreign country's get caught up with.  Patience is virtue they say, eve though this is frustrating and infuriating.. Karma will bite them sooner or later.

So take a few and read these, have a few laughs at the scammers expense.. and remember, Karma has fangs!

Indian guy left message 12 times said it was from  i r s and i was delinquent in my taxes. i called the i r s to check it out and they were closed because of the government shutdown.knew it was a scam of some kind

Quit calling me! I just got this new phone number and this 415-484-2132 caller won't leave me alone! I don't need the stress on top of the cancer I am fighting. They call me several times a day, I respond telling them that they have the wrong number. Still an hour or so later they call again? Very frustrating! Any suggestions?PLEASE HELP!

This mid eastern or Indian keeps calling and asking for "Marshall" and to return his call, etc.  No here is named Marshall and he says he is with the IRS so this is obviously interstate fraud of some sort.

Got three calls from this number in the past two hours.  Indian guy who barely speaks English gives a woman's name who he is looking for then says he is from IRS and I need to call him back immediately.  So clearly a scam.will not pick up any of his calls.  Ridiculous how many people try to scam others.

I received a call from this number indicating they were calling from the IRS and I owed back taxes, a warrant for my arrest had been issued and I would spend a minimum of 2-6months in jail.  Return calls to the number resulted in an answer of my call but when I repeatedly said I am current on my taxes and have never been contacted regarding any issue such as then the person that answered the call would hang up.

I just received the same call earlier from an Indian guy saying he is from the IRS.  I called back and talked to a woman saying I owe 3100$ from 2011!  They said I was going to be arrested within the next 24-48 hrs and that the court would not accept bail.  I was so taken aback that dumb me even offered to give them 100$ (thank God I didnt) and she hung up on me and said stop wasting my time.  I thought we just had a bad connection so I called back and she said I would be in jail by tomorrow.  She hung up again I tried calling back and no answer.  Please catch these people and put them in JAIL!!!!

I just received a call from a women saying that we need to speak to lawyer Kenneth Webster regarding the IRS claim against us. My husband tried calling back but it sounds like a fax number. DONT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION NOR AGREE THAT ANYTHING THEY MAY HAVE IS CORRECT!!!!!

Report these calls to the local IRS office as well the phone co. They need to be stopped and arrested for fraudulent representation. They are all scams.

I received a call yesterday from a man from India.  I though it was ridiculous for the IRS to call anyone after 5 pm if at all.  He ask if I had an attorney however he want be call me any more.  It time for the hunter to be the hunted. Someone needs to harass them.

Callers states she is with the IRS Data.  Ironic as IRS shuttered this week with government shutdown.  Barely English but starts with Legal Consequences threat.  She rambles some more and then says she is with IRS and then says ' Internal Revenue Service".  Heavy Indian accent but says her name is Stanlee Williamson (NOT).  Tells us severe legal action if we do not call Kenneth Webster at 415.484.2132.  Told her I couldn't understand her so needed her to put on someone who spoke English.  A guy then gets on and getting frustrated as I asked for IRS case number.  

Call State Attorney's office and they took information and said it is a SCAM.  They are tracking these calls has big increase in last week or so
