I got a call today that said I was going to be arrested for not paying a payday loan and that they needed the name of my attorney.  I could not understand them at first and asked them to slow down and they hung up on me.  I called back and they spoke so fast I could not understand them. They hung up again, I called back and learned that they said I had a payday loan and that I never paid it back and now I owed a huge amount and that I would be arrested at work tomorrow.  They stated my place of employment and I said I no longer work there and they hung up.  Not sure what this is all about and not sure what to do.

A gentleman and I say "gentleman" called and said I was being sued and the paper work was being
forward to somebody could not under stand . Had a accent that sounded like he was from the are of
India. Could not hear him good. Called back and he said the number was to Dept. of Legal Affairs,
I asked him where thid was and he stated Calif. before could say anything else he hung up.

This caller didn't give me any information about the nature of his call. He just wanted me to verify all my personal information. He had the last of my social security number which he had messed up with another number. I asked what was the legal charges for he refused to say and said contact his attorney which he also said he couldn't give me the name but wanted my attorney name.I eneded the call and called back and this time   a lady answered but with just a hello. They all sound Indian with very hard accents they talk very slow as if  they are mumbling and reading from something....FRAUD

Yes he also called me saying he needed to verify my information. He stated he couldn't give me no information on the company that was filing legal charges on me and to contact his attorney which he couldn't provide. I just hung up I called back and the lady answered saying hello they sounded Indian very deep accent

got a call from this number... He introduced self as legal thing investigator, asked again to spell his name as claimed something like an american name like "smith" but with a very strong accent from India/ Pakistan, when i asked again to spell his name... He hang up! Tried to call back twice to this number but no answer anymore.

Obviously reading something. Threating sounding call. Could not understand what they are saying. Sounded like a angry robot. Please make it stop.

I did not pick up, so a VM was left and the person
calling was clearly reading from a script and claimed
to be from the IRS.
