Rec'd. a text message saying to" contact Fifth Third Bank at this phone number. Your immediate attention is requested. Call now". Don't have an account at that bank. This is obviously a scam.

Everyone - we are the legal owners of the number mentioned in the text.
Our phone service was handled by Vitelity http://www.vitelity.com/ but through them, our servers got hacked and someone is sending out this scam.
We're not getting any response or resolution from Vitelity so please be aware of this company.
We apologize about this - please keep reporting on these texts.
We have also filed a police report and will probably have to cancel our phone number because of all this.

Everyone!!
I am the legal owner of the number 415 494-2854.
On Tuesday the 24th of April, our phone server was hacked and our phone numbers moved to a pre-recoreded answer machine asking for people's cc info.
It took us a few hours to realize this had happen.
We have since filed a police report to try to resolve it.
Please - do not call the numbers or leave your CC numbers to anyone who can not identify themselves.
Thanks!!!

Got same call... and the same message the day before but with another number. When I called back that first number (310-362-7388), there was an automated message asking me for my HSBC mastercard credit card number and expiration date... not thinking I punched it in, but realized this might be a SCAM when they asked for my pin ..... I don't even have a pin for this card.
I called HSBC to report both of these messages, I suggest you do the same .
They are sending me a new card.
