It hangs up when I pick up. So I called them back and got the number removed. They were looking for the previous owner of this #, which I just acquired from the Verizon # pool.

Just got a call from this number, automated system telling me to get an "important message for <not_my_name>". Hung up after a short while (I'm paying money if I'm called, dammit!).

Voicemail left from these dicks. I get a call every other day or so from similar numbers..
This is a call for "Jenalay, Dave. If you are not Jenalay, Dave, please hang up as this contains important personal information..." (part where I hang up)

This message was "this call is for paf" if you are not paf, hang up if you are paf please listen. This is a attempt to collect a debt" I just hung up after that. They call twice a day, I don't answer. Any debt I owe is over 7 years old. I have cleaned up my act and paid everyone off. I do not owe anyone anything. So I wait and see what happens. Oh they are "stellar debt recovery"
