I got a call from this number. If I don't know it, I don't answer it. They didn't leave a message which tells me it was somebody that I didn't want to talk to. Others have reported that it is the SF Opera. Could be. Weird that they would call me since I have never had and business dealings with them.

The SF Opera...they have some crafty alert system. First, they send you an email, then when you open it, they unleash the robocaller. Bad way to get me to donate. This consistently happens....

SF OPERA...from the looks of posts dating back to 2011 it appears SF Opera's behavior still hasn't changed. It's July 2013 and they still do not leave messages. SMH

The call was dropped.
It says: San Francisco, CA.
I'd like to know who called me.

San Francisco Opera!! Bought tickets one time and now they will not stop calling me...feels nice to know I'm not alone!

I think California law mandates that if the call is to solicit something, be it fund raising or telemarketing, they are no allowed to leave you a message. I handle unsolicited calls by simply not answering any number that is not in my contact list, or if I don't recognize the number. Still irritating, though!

Gave them my number to purchase tickets online. Big mistake. In the future, I will use my google voice number so that I can block them with impunity.

Called my cell phone.

Called my cell, left no message, according to my phone the call originated in San Francisco.

I called the number back, got a full voicemail box, but then opted for the operator. It's a number for the San Francisco Opera - no doubt asking for money.

San Francisco Opera

Called my cell phone did not leave a message. I bought a San Fran opera ticket with my credit card 3 years ago. After that every couple of months the SF opera would call me on my landline phone. I asked them to stop and they did. Now somehow they've got my cell phone number and they're calling again. All because I bought one damned opera ticket from them 3 years ago.

San Francisco Opera asking for money...
| Michelle 2011-06-06 20:48:36 Unknown |
Yup, the San Francisco Opera. Luckily, I never answer my cell phone :D

This number has called me 4x is the past week.
I looked it up... SF Opera.
How did they get my number and why do they persist at harassing me?
Can't say I am any more motivated to give them money.

got a call, didn't pickup

Yup. I traced this back and got their sales department. They removed my name from their telemarketer's list. Sadly, the sales rep seemed fine with the fact that their telemarketers repeatedly dial numbers w/o EVER leaving a message.
SF Opera is tone-deaf.

I've gotten a few calls this week and no messages and I never bought a ticket but went to the free opera in the park. Very annoying

It's the SF opera. They call a LOT.
