I got suckered by this text message. Gave a bunch of info (gave wrong birth date, wrong cell phone - but enough other stuff, including correct email). The system said that, in order for them to send my $1,000, they'd need me to look at and accept some "special offers" from other known companies. That's when I bailed on it. Today, my email got a wave of spam offers ...

Number was a text and offering $1000.00 Best Buy Card.  Didn't want to give personal info so cancelled.  Probably not so smart to fall for it.

This number was text and offering a 1000.00 best buy card but it is asking alot of personal information. I'm not sure about handing any I don't know my information. Someone might misuse to make them self as me .
