Well now Cindy please, you really expect us to believe you?  It seems strange that the address listed on this company's website is in reality a UPS store.  Nice neighborhood though, how long does it take to drive from the seedy part of town over the railroad tracks to get your mail?

Not surprisingly I went back five pages in a Google search and did not find them.  They did however come up on Yahoo, not that it means anything.

You just couldn't keep silent and thought you should do the honorable thing and come defend this company?  So how much did they say they were going to pay you, and my next question would be "Did the check bounce?".

How did you find this site?  I found it when I googled a phone number that was harassing me, trying to find the owner.  Is that what you did?  Or did you just google the phone number of a company you were already doing business with?

Do they pay you well?  Do you sleep well at night?  Or does your conscience keep you awake?

No, this is not a scam. I am glad I didn't rely on the misinformation I read here initially.  I placed an order and I very quickly recieved detailed reports with credit history on my applicants.  I was so impressed with the quality of their service, I have switched tenant screening companies. I would highly recommend Private Eye Reports to anyone who needs an awesome background check.

Several weeks ago I thought the same thing at first glance, but when I started checking it out further, this website is totally legit. I has been around for many years and has a Google Pagerank of 3.   As it turns out, after asking around, several of my acquaintances in property management happen use this service and they told me it is a terrific asset to their screening process.  After looking at other customer reviews at http://tenantscreeningbackgroundcheck.com/customer-reviews/ I figured I really had nothing to lose, so I placed an order.   After receiving the reports, I was completely blown away with the extensive reporting and that they found several out of state evictions and a Chapter 13 bankruptcy on one of my applicants + I got a free background check on the spouse that showed several more judgments.   I just couldn't keep silent when I saw so many people jumping to the wrong conclusion.  Check it out for yourself, and you will be very pleasantly surprised at what an awesome system they have for getting landlords nationwide data on our prospective tenants.

Same as everyone else, replied about a property for rent and asked for an application without physically seeing the property. Called three times with no response.   AVOID wasting your time with the so called Victoria John

I got the same as others mentioned - an email sent through Zillow, from Victoria John, asking if the unit is still available and what the "proceedures" are for tenant screening.  Unfortunately, I took the time to respond before googling the phone number and finding this :/

Got message from T-mobile saying plan doesn't allow call to this number.  Then I found these comments.  Also got email from "Victoria John" via Zillow asking me to respond via email.  Looked suspicious so I used an email (not my primary email) I keep for just this kind of thing - questionable responses to ads.

Don't response to this spammer asking him to stop either --since request he sends me 3-4 emails a day. Wish I knew how to report this to Zillow directly.

I got 2 email messages using zillow from Victoria John. I thought 2 emails saying the exact same thing with a message asking me to respond by email only despite giving this phone number. I suspected they wanted my email for some reason and checked it in reverse lookup. I never responded.

NY sent email to contact via Zillow, when called number, recording said you cannot access the number with your calling plan.

I called and got the same recording that my plan did not provide service to this number.  I knew it was odd about the application request without wanting to see the rental property and didn't send one, but I did send a follow up email. So, now you think I will get email solicitations from this?

I called the number first before looking here and received the voice mail response that Andy posted above.
Did not send out application as the request to have one without seeing the property is a red flag.

Yep this is a scam to get your email address. I called the number for Victoria Johns and got same message as Andy. They wanted an application without seeing the property.

Yes, same here, in Oregon this time.  Tried to call, but AT&T says "your calling plan does not allow you to access this number."  Using the extra dots to track who replies - mine was j.ohn.vh.ess@gmail.com.  Absolutely a scam/spam.
