Similar..he said I had 4 choices, spend a year under house arrest, spend 6 months in rehab, be extradited to the Dominican Republic ,or pay a fine.  By this time I was on the DEA website reporting the scam.  He said I would have to report to the DA If I would not pay.  I asked him the DA's name and he said Thomas Harrigan...who is not my DA.  I told him it was a federal offense to impersonate an agent.  He said now I had insulted him and his men were on the way.  HMM....they must have gotten caught in traffic.

He called me and told me I had to go to the federal court house in New York to await extradition (I live in Oregon) he also told me agents were on there way to my house with a search warrant (no one ever showed up). He did mention that he could clear my name if I were to pay a monetary fee and if I cooperated and admitted to the allegation of funding and purchasing medication from the dominican rrepublic. When I ask for his badge number he told me I would receive it when I show up in court and then hung up. I called him back after doing research and finding out this could be a potential scam and no one answered but he himself called me back immediately after (which was bizarre, since I would assume and agent of his caliber would have a secretary) and when I questioned him and the reports of the scam that was going on implementig his name he bacame very defensive and when I asked for his badge number again he refused and refused to give me his supervisor name. the number he call me from was (304)300-5953.

Same guy but different phone number.  "Officer Thomas Harrigan" with the DEA is still at it.  I got a message from these losers with the same bull about buying drugs from online pharmacies.  Called the number back and got another loser pretending to be with the DEA and just told him I didn't appreciate SCAMS and they need to stop calling.  This time the number is (559)838-0300.

I received a call from (562)606-1199. The person stated he was Thomas Harrigan, DEA, badge #849361. He told me he had a warrant for my arrest for purchasing prescription drugs online in 2007. He said there were field officers placed within 5 minutes of my home & they were going to come & arrest me if I did not agree to settle the matter over the phone. He put me on hold, came back & stated Judge O'Neil had agreed to dismiss all charges if I paid a fine of $2500. Initially, the call scared me as it came in at 7am & woke me up. But the more he spoke, the more outlandish it sounded.  Someone should do something about these idiots and these scams.

Prank Call
I got a voicemail from a hispanic male saying "Donna M******, I am Special Agent Robert Foley with the Drug Enforcement Agency, and I need you to contact me back as soon as possible regarding an open and ongoing investigation. It is urgent that you call me back as soon as possible. Again, this is Special Agent Robert Foley with the DEA.". The return number was 1-209-487-0344. The message was left for me on 8-18-11 at 3:05pm EDT. I did call and leave a brief message asking him to call me back today, since I didn't hear the message until today, but decided to look online for the area code (it's a California area code), and thought that was weird, since California is 2000+ miles away (I'm on the East Coast). Now I see this same number is part of this scam. So when/if this guy calls back, I'll try to keep him on the phone for as long as possible, then tell him his location has just been tracked, and say "You're Busted!". Maybe that will scare him off.

Prank Call
I got a call today about noon on my voice mail, thick accent, Det. Robert Foley division 38, badge #N33419 and my case # 014215010.  He said he worked with the DEA and he was calling to tell me that I am on a list of individuals who are being investigated for purchasing illegal medications online.  He was very mean and aggressive.  He told me that I am defendant #86 and they have all my information that shows that I ordered pain medication from the DR but I never received it because it was conficated and found to contain 40% cocaine.  That means I am involved in illegal drug trafficing and I will be flown to SF to appear in front of a judge Snyder tomorrow morning then be extridited to the DR for sentencing.  But since I was such a good person with no prior arrests I had three other options.  He would pause and talk on what sounded like a police radio giving orders regarding my case, "stand by."  OK.  I could go into the Defendant release program and go on house arrest for two years, or pay a fine and report any drug co.s that try to solicit my business.  If I didnt want to pay the fine then I could get a federal lawyer....plead not guilty.  I told him I would pay the fine and then everything would be dropped.  What was the fine. $2,000.00.  I said I couldnt get that kind of money together today so he dropped it to $1,000.00 and a payment plan of $100 monthly for 20 months. "Now dont try to runaway cuz people have tried this and we will get you."  He also said my phones are being tapped and there are officers nearby ready to search my house and take me away.  He then told me that I needed to go to Rite Aid (he had the location and knew how long it would take me to get there) and wire thru Western Union the $1,000.  He said he would call me every 20 minutes to see how I was doing.  I said ok and hung up.  The first thing I did was to call the local police and they knew all about this scam.  Then I went online and found numbers to call and report the event.  The number he gave me was 209-487-0344 DEA contact.  I was  to send the money to Luis Rodriguez, Punta-Cana, Dominican Republic.  That doesnt sound like a district atty address to me.  I got a call from him and I told him that I had called the extortion hotline for the DEA and I now knew this was a phone scam and the phone went dead.  Evil scum of the earth...this is what free enterprise has delivered to our doorstep from the bowels of hell.

Prank Call
Just received a call from fake DEA agent Thomas Harrigan. Extremely rude and arrogant. Knows personal information and claims I am going to be arrested for ordering medication online. Demanding I bring $2750 cash to a random address in Santa Clarita, CA in order to have charges dropped. When I mentioned getting an attorney, he said the deal is off if legal counsel is involved. Then when I stated I was skeptical about the validity of the call, he basically said this was the real deal and if I wasn't willing to bring the cash to the location, he was sending DEA agents to my office to arrest me.

Call Back # given: 240-949-2585
Address to drop off cash: 24975 Pico Canyon Rd., Stevenson Ranch, CA

Prank Call
The same thing happened to me that I just copied from above and will repost it. I have to say I was scared. I also called my local police depoartment and spoke with an officer. After that I called the DEA, Dayton ohio. She said they would never call and try to get information over the phone and I had nothing to worry about. That is terrible. I wish who ever it is that Karmen will get them. You dont prank people like that to try to scam them. The phone number was 429-901-0921.

.DEA called me and told me I was being summons and that there was a warrant out for my arrest and I needed to cooperate with this investigation. He told me there was a man coming to my house as we spoke so he hoped I was dressed, to arrest me for smuggling drugs into the country. I told him I didn?t know what he was referring to, he said I did and that I was going to be arrested today and would be spending up to 7 yrs in jail. I told him I didn?t understand what he was talking about, and asked if he could give me more information regarding this. He said I would have it any min. because I was going to be taken into custody. He said I needed to cooperate with the authorities under this investigation, that he has all my information and voice recordings for ordering drugs on the internet. I told him I didn?t know what he was talking about and I was happy to cooperate but I needed to know where to go and what to do. He said they would let me know and that there were plenty of places in my area. I told him I would call him back and hung up. He called right back and said he didn?t appreciate me hanging up on him and I had 10 min. to return the call or they would proceed with my arrest. I limitedly called the FBI and then FCC, FTC, CPA, Police dep. and the DEA. Needless to say I was really scared and was ready to corporate with the FBI under this investigation I just wanted to make sure it was legitimate. They told me that I had nothing to worry about and that it was a scam.

I missed a call from phone number 424-901-0921, which from what I've read on this site is a new number "Officer Thomas Harrigan, DEA Drug Administrator" is using.  I called him back today and he claimed I had purchased a medication online and I had violated some sort of law.  He also claimed I purchased it and had an old address of mine from a few years back.  I asked him to send me information on the matter as I work for an attorney.  He immediately said he wished me this best of luck in the court of law and hung up the phone.  I tried calling his number back again to get more information from him and he didn't answer, also I've tried to look-up this number and from what I can tell this number is a cell phone number.  I freaked out a little but now that i see many of you have had the same thing happen, I am not going to worry about it.  I want this loser to be scared and pay for his actions.  What should I do?

I also received a call from a man claiming to be Officer Thomas Harrigan of the DEA and the number he used is 949 468-5107. Asked me to wire money to the dominican republic to a person by the name of Arelis Pichardo...supposedly the DA in the Domincan Republic handling a criminal case re: online pharmacies. I was threatened with jail time and DEA agents showing up at my door if I did not wire money via Western Union. I cannot verify if this information is true but I just found this blog on the Internet and wanted to give you all the infomation I was given. I believe this is a scam... The court case he's referring to is supposedly under Judge Lawrence Tate O'Neil (sp?) in the San Francisco area.
