Why do you re-register every year?   The registry is permanent.  Once registered, always registered until you change phone numbers or opt out.  Sounds like you're looking for a call blocker.  Try checking on various call blocking units available over the web.  The DNC doesn't monitor,  screen or block calls for anyone.  It is just a list of names collected and maintained by the FTC,  and purchased by REGISTERED with the FTC  businesses in order to honor the list.   Your callers are Scofflaws,  call spoofers,  scammers,  and many are in other countries,   and the registry was not created nor was it ever intended to protect anyone against these lawbreakers.  Those legitimate telemarketing companies,  Registered with the FTC,  do honor the requests of those on the list or you'd have millions of legitimate businesses legally calling you daily.

I got the same call from the same company at 4:30 am (EST) this morning!!!! Of course they didn't leave a message.Telemarketing has gotten out of control again. The Do Not Call Registry is a joke. I re-register every year and I still get calls from different companies even when I opt out. Frustrating!!! The number that called 415-691-4608.

Calls from 415-691-4608 and 510-240-1680 have been occurring over the last month. About 5-6 each day. After I blocked both numbers a few days ago, the calls continue...today 35 calls total from these numbers.  Since I blocked the numbers, the phone only rings once per call.  Still very annoying.  How do I stop this?

They are a collection agency hired by cable companies to try to collect on delinquent accounts.  I moved and forgot to cancel my service and return my boxes (my boyfriend already had cable and my dvrs got boxed up somewhere) so they wanted to collect the $200+ per box that I didn't return.

This motherf***ers are calling every day. They either use this number or 510 984-1414. I told them that I am going to find them and punch them in the face if they continue calling. Goddamn!!!!!!!!!

been receiving calls from this number on my cellphone at least once a week for the last few weeks, no caller ID.

Got the call at my work number 9/4, 9/8 (twice), and each time the person just hung up without leaving a message.  The calls were always b/w 7p to 8pm PST.

I also received a phone call tonight. I think I know the culprit because, I have been following my credit activity. I gather from all your posts, it seems to be the chronicle but, it all should be taken very suspiciously. My phone call stems from the Freecreiditreport.com website. They sell my private info. to a third party whom automatically made me a member, charging fees and offering services through email without my knowledge, it's in the fine print of course. Leads come from a source connected to intellius, also connected to turnkey solutions, et al. Phone numbers lead to automations that require more private info. i.e. address, email, phone number, before it will even patch you through to anywhere or anyone, if there is anyone.

i got a call from this number twice now!but evrytime i pick up no one answers & if i call them back they would pick up but when i start talking no one would answer back then they just freakn hang the phone

me too yesterday + international forwarding = 4AM

Several calls a week for 2 weeks; no answer when picked up, no message left on machine when I don't pick up. Caller ID reads "California Call". A reverse look-up says it's an unpublished land line in Belvedere CA

This number left a blank message on my answering machine.
