They might be good but if you have several listing their editing option major league SUCKS.  I used trulia for over a year and that editing issue was a main reason I stopped.  Also unless you have a premium membership the service sucks.

Still calling to try and sell "leads".    Funny thing that they aren't willing to accept a referral fee for successfully closed deals isn't it?

Mighty telling about the quality of their leads then, eh?

You can get a call block application for your smart phone and they can call a hundred times a day and it never rings.  Just hangs up on them.  Eventually they stop calling.

I get calls from them all the time. Like everybody is saying, it is Trulia trying to upsell. It's not evil, they have a good service for agents who might not be able to prospect very well. However, I get massive leads from my own "Homes for sale" site already ( www.virginiabeachresidence.com ) for way cheaper than a Trulia zip code thing. As a matter of fact, the training on how best to market my site was, collectively for the last year, cheaper than one month of a Trulia zip code. I compete with Trulia for keywords and win all the time. Good luck to you folks trying to sell Trulia, but there are more and more tech savvy Realtors out there every day that won't need you. As for the calls, I saved the number as "Spam" and made the ringer "No ring". Very easy.

These Trulia sales people keep calling but they rarely leave a message.  They call 2-3 times per day, and I've told them repeatedly, that I am not interested in purchasing their marketing product.  If I ever changed my mind, I knew how to get a hold of them.

I have gotten so many calls from Trulia I'm trying to delete my profile. There does not seem to be a "hot button" for that.

What you need to do is save this number to a new contact, and set that contact's ringtone to "no ring."  Problem SOLVED.  Works every time.  Thank you 800notes.com.  I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number, and after a quick Google search and punching a few buttons on my cell phone, I will not lose any time to this solicitor again.

Life Of A Scum Bag,

If Trulia.com was so great at getting Realtors leads, and making them lots of money...you wouldn't have your telemarketing scum bag job.  The Realtors would be calling Trulia!

Can't you find another minimum wage job??

This number (Trulia) continues to call our office nearly everyday between 10-15 times. If you tell them to take your number off their calling list, they become very defensive. I have started pushing their calls straight to voice mail. Then a second call will come from a different number trying to sell the same thing. Sorry - our agents are not interested!!

WOW @ Life Of a Salesman. Could your disgruntled post be because you are not having any success yourself? Hard to believe you are knocking the ploy your company uses to get their own leads. I (as well as all the other smart real estate agents) took advantage of the offer and created the free ad so we would have more presence in searches. The free ad does its job.  End of story.

Here's my advise to you....look within yourself to create a positive change.... or change jobs ....and maybe you won't feel so bitter. Hope things turn around for you.

Gee - if you are a Trulia sales person - you are out of touch with what Realtors want and need.  We get hundreds of scams a year!  Why should we believe you are any different?  GUARANTEED - first thing a true salesperson learns - never guarantee anything - we cannot predict the future.  If I hear the work guaranteed - it is a scam and the person is trying to feel be bull s!!!.  Sounds like you are frustrated and unsuccessful!

I'm willing to bet that the agents that are blogging right now aren't successful in your current markets.. Trulia.com is callling you because at some point you made a FREE account online intending on getting leads. You put your phone number and email address in the system hoping for what? A one in a million lead to see your information on your $100,000 listing. The funny thing is FREE accounts don't bring in leads on trulia, however, PAYING agents on the website are now getting GUARENTEED access to leads... don't waste our time, we call you trying to help your business.. most of you say your busy, or that your current "referral" campaign is working well... that's a bunch of bull... 90% of consumers looking to buy or sell a home do so... wait..... wait for it........ ONLINE!! So answer the phone, take 5 minutes of your "busy" schedule and stop being a bunch of pompous agents who act more successful than you really are.

Cheers,
Brian

Why leave messages? The call would go unreturned anyways. Yes we call and call, but its not to hurt its to help. Its a GREAT product that has gone along way with many agents and brokers. If you took the time to listen to what it is we are offering you might just be impressed. If youre not interested we dont call back over and over again. We may check back in from time to time a couple of months down the road. Next time myself or one of my contemporaries calls you take 10 min and listen it might just tunr things around for you in a down economy

It's funny, I have been working for Trulia.com for 6months now and every agent that i have signed up has called to tell me thank you so much for pushing me to join Trulia.  To the agents that are spending (wasting) their time with blogging on these pointless website on how much they hate one company or another, how about you just do your job and pick up the phone once in a while.

You put your number and face out there on listings all over your area, and you are shocked that we are offering you a better way to do business?? I will never push through a conversation when teh agent is busy and i will never sell a product that doesnt work for them, but really, you would rather waste  your time blogging about how bad business is and how much we dont want to hear about what will benefit me.

End Rant!!

Have a great day!

I should hope not since my hope is that fellow realtors would have the professionalism and common courtesy to a) leave a message and b) stop calling when they say they aren't interested.
