Answered the phone not thinking about it and it was some auto warranty place... so I pressed 1 and got an american agent. I asked how they got the number and I was told to call their do not call list number very fast and the person hung up. I tried calling the number back but it does not go through... any one know who these folks are or how they got access to an unlisted number? I would really like them to stop calling ... it is getting more and more frequent.

Called me several times i finely pressed 1 and got someone who then transfered me to another person for a Car warranty for 5 years for 398$ down and 274$ a month for 12 months and that i had to act now, they wanted my credit card number. funny thing the call dropped and they called me back. here is the number they called me from 800-436-3185. I ended up hanging up on them. We will see if they call back.

Company name claims to be Gold Key but if you call the 800 number back it's Nation Dealer Warranty. Sounds like a scam.

I pretty sure this is an American company and the CRTC and registering with the Canadian National Do Not Call registry will not make a difference. I have also heard the RCMP is investigating....

I called the dealer where I bought our vehicle to see if it is something that they initiated.  He said no, but that they've heard about this and that the company can be very aggressive especially when they have a senior on the line and often will push and push until they get a credit card number.

A few of us Virgin Mobile people are getting the same call explaining some kind of warranty is running out.  This is ridiculous.  Let us know what really works to get rid of these jerks!

This number calls me everyday, sometimes multiple times on my cell and at home and it is very annoying. Is there anything I can do? How do they get a 000 number to show up on caller ID? Good thing is at least I can ignore it if I see the number.

I am on rogers and I get the and so does my wife.  Rogers says I can call block for 5$ a month..a***oles...

I'm on Koodo and this number has called me too on my cell phone. Its so annoying! I keep getting calls from California too. How did they get my number?

Call the police. they have had trouble linking the fake number (416-000-XXXX) to anyone. You now have a good link from someone who has been harassed.. The police need to know it. Make a report.. call phone busters.. something.. They need to stop calling and they need to respect the wishes of Canadians.
