Received a call from this number. Caller ID displayed "Name Unavailable". I did not answer the call. The caller did not leave any message on voice-mail. I called back immediately. No rings, but an automated voice - "One moment please......" and then an indefinite silence. No one came to talk. Very suspicious caller.

These people call me several times a day "pretending" to be Bell Canada and saying I need to change my internet service as it has expired.
It takes them 3 "hellos" to connect the call to their calling pool.  I now do this on purpose and angrily demand that they stop calling.  It's fun.

had to say hello repeatedly to get any answer... then they told me something like 'bell canada calling, hold please'.

Only got the one call so far, maybe answering it once will make them stop (fingers crossed).

I got a call from this number, just now saying that they are from CIBC. i wonder if they really are?

For the past few months I've been getting 5 to 6 calls per day from this number as well as from 416-665-1377. They never leave a message and always seem to disconnect after 4 rings. When I picked up and said hello there was a 4 or 5 second delay without a response so I hung up. BUT..... I think I've found a solution to put an end to the calls. On Friday afternoon I changed the number of rings before my answering machine picks up. I had it set at 5, changed it to 2, got 1 call from 416-224-2061, the answering machine picked up and low and behold it's the following Wednesday and I haven't had any more calls from them. The only drawback is that you have to be really quick at picking up the phone when it's someone you actually want to talk to. I've told family & friends what I've done & one of us gets back to each other right away. So there you have it.... a possible solution. I'd really be interested to find out if anyone else would be willing to try this and post whether it works for them or not.

Harrassed ceaselessly by 416 224 1061 - EVERYDAY 6-8 times a day! Never leaving messages. This is incredible! Starts usually from 9:30am to 8:30pm!!  How to make them STOP!!

Same as many people...  calls several times, I pick up, it is dial tone or a long pause.  Tonight I called back this number and it was not in service.  Called the operator, they have no listing for this number.  (cue Twilight Zone theme music)

I keep getting calls from this number and when i finally pick up no one answers. I was really annoyed and called back but then no one picks up.I call back again and it says thenumber is out of service so i was really freaked out, but one of my thoughts is that its a prank call.

I've gotten 5 calls from this number on my cell phone. How are they calling from a number that isn't in service. I don't pick up but it is really annoying.

CIBC VISA - incredibly annoying; they call multiple times a day.  They got my number from Aeroplan ("as a valuable Aeroplan member, we would like to offer you the CIBC Aeroplan VISA blah blah blah").  Will call Aeroplan and complain.

i got  call tooo from this number- saying tht this guy was frm CIBC...
he answered right when i picked up the fone- asking for a person- but since he wasnt there- i told that he is unavailable and asked if this is urgent- he said to just disregard this phonecall :S:S:S

this number keeps calling, and will not leave a message.  finally answered and after 5 hello's, a guy comes on stating RBC Visa.  I was not impressed with with no caller id in the name.  Called RBC Visa and complained and they stated it's not their number. They will look into.   IF this is RBC or CIBC as it states above, keep calling the Banks and complain.  They should want to protect their name and go after these people.

if you call the number back , a voice say 3T2 - this number is no longer in service. What the hell is this?

Same thing ... They call numerous times a day, no messages.  Called them back, and Bell says "not in service"/"disconnected".  After a awhile, I thought it might be something out of a horror movie.  Thought it might be my voice or a voice from the beyond I'd hear.  :-)

Same as above - and when I call back - it says the 'number is not available' but then states 25 and appears to allow you to leave a message?

Got a call from this number; they didn't leave a message.  When I called it back, it said it was not in service.  ?  Go figure!

I have been getting numerous calls from this # and it is becoming annying.  I am registered with the Canadian marketing association.  I thought once your on the do not call list that telemarketers are not allowed to call your number.  I am going to report this number

416-224-1061 is CIBC VISA, or someone claiming to be with CIBC VISA, and they want you to have a CIBC VISA, or so they say.

I've contacted them about the numerous phone calls and reminded them that they shouldn't be doing that.

Don't these people (CIBC) have enough money? Do they have to call you during dinner? These goofs make me furious.

I too have received many calls from this  number... only when I call it back, I do not get thru to anyone. Bell comes on the line saying the number is not in service! But I still receive phone calls from it... just today was my last one.

Received numerous calls from this # over the last week. No one is there when I answer. Today I waited longer on the line and a guy with a strong accent said he is calling from RBC bank. I could not clearly understand what he was offering but told him not to call again. Will see if this helps. I am registered with the national DCL.
