i fell for this scam, cus i gave them my postal code...is it possible for them to change anything in my phone account with my postal code??

claimed he was from my cell phone provider' offering free phones' beware he was east indian or pakistani and appeared to have certain info about my account' in the day where Canada Post is contracting our mail services to new Canadians' they have paved the way for indentity theft' i guess next the canadian goverment will start subbing out our police force and military out to these people that come from countrys that practice terrorist activities and harbor terrorists' where is this country going?

Yup, just got a call from 416-228-9119... baby talk from the other end and it hung up...

This number has been calling my house at least twice daily for the last few weeks.Now tonight it actually called my cell phone. Same thing thats happening to everyone else. creepy and annoying!

Got a call yesterday from this number.  On my voicemail the message sounded like scrambled talking.

Reciving a call without anyone speaking. Dailing out to the number the number is not in service.

Got a call from the exact number and when I challenged him on the offer fron Telus.  He immediately rambled a very fast reply "I see u called Telus and I will call them right away to put the offer on the account" and hung up so fast he didn't even say goodbye.  Call your phone company and notify them of the calls.  I called Telus about the matter and they know the calls are coming to from Pakistan and their goal is to get your address and personal information.  In Canada, they are randomly calling numbers in Vancouver, Alberta and Ontario so don't think about changing your number.  They'll get to you sooner or later.  Hopefully a lawsuit will start but I doubt it.

Got a call offering me a free phones with a 3yrs contract with Fido. Got an e-mail from Phones4less, admin@phone4less.ca, with a confirmation order for my phones. They never arrived. Fido didn't know about this deal.

I received a call from this number, the person said that he was calling from Bell and asked me if my phone was in my name and whether I took care of the bill. I told him that since he was from Bell he should know. He started yammering about something. I could make out about 5% of the words that he was saying and I told him that I wasn't interested and hung up.

Weird.

Received a call from this number - tried to call back, got "out of service".

"I had some guy with an east indian accent in a very noisy room claiming to be from my cell phone company. He offered me a free phone if I just answered some questions and hung up on me when I hassled him for proof that he was actually from my provider." quote from above.

I got that exact call this afternoon.  I told him to call me another time as I was busy.  This guy tried to call 3 times later this evening!  I ignored it.  Hope it stops...

I just got a call at work from these people.He also sounded like an east indian man. He asked me if this was a home or business number and i said business. then he asked to speak to the home owener or my mother because he thought i was a child. He was asking me my age and i was laughing because it was obviosly a prank call and i asked stupid questions back. I said thanks for giving me a laugh today and hung up. so far i havent gotten a call back.

Calling 3 times in a row.  Twice today.

They are calling my WORK and my personal CELL, I HAVE NO IDEA who they are what they want and when you call back it is a number that is no longer in service.  I don't appreciate the calls two, three times a day.

I got a free mobile phone and notebook from them, but I do not even know who those guys supposed to be. Defenately stupid f***ing liar.

This number left 6 silent messages on my voicemail! It's unassigned when I dial it.

I just got a call from this number. At first no response, then a man with an east indian sounding voice said "Hi i'm David, I'm lonely do you mind talking?"... I said yes i mind and hung up. creep.

I traced the number through my company and it is an automatic dialer - like on the Simpson's Happy Dude episode!! Don't answer it, it programs your number when you do and keeps calling back #3113# and blcoked them from calling

Yea, I just got the call from that number as well...so strange.  I did a google on the number as well..what in the world is going on?
