So I just called them back, It is the MS Society.  There were three options, I chose the one to remove my number,  keyed in the number (including the area code) and they confirmed it and stated while the Govt allowed 30 days they would do their best to remove it within the next 2 to 3 days.  If they do then kudos to the MS society for their efforts to respect others.

I don't understand.  caller id says anonymous, they call several times a day but there is no one on the line if we do answer.  What the Hell do they want?  How can they sell me something if they don't respond.  very confusing to me

Everyone else says it is MS Society calling...why do you say its AIC?

Anonymous? Seriously? I don't answer (or return) calls from numbers I don't recognize, but these jokers called today just before lunch.

called and it was automated.  did the option to have my number removed and while it was done, federal law allows them 30 days to remove the number, how many times can they call me in that time frame?

I get this call every day more than once. I do not answer calls from those I do not know and especially from anonymous.

I swear these ppl are calling from all different numbers. today it was this number. I called the number back an it sounded like a scam. the msg sounded very fake and a lil too friendly to be legit. I bet they are trying to collect credit card numbers for later so they can rip us off. It also had an option to select to have your number removed and I don't trust it..what if its just to verify there's actually a person on the other end and they start calling even more? smdh

got call today

calls every day even Sunday, I do not answer.  I called the # back and it did say MS society and  there was 3 options, 3rd being to enter my phone # to no longer be called, of course it said was an invalid # and would not delete it.  I tried it a second time, same thing.  Do we have to put up with this?? so annoying!!

From other complaints on this page it would appear it is either the MS group looking for donations or a Collection Agency. Are they now 'sharing' a phone number to keep down costs?

Call says it's coming from anonymous no one there when I answered, then a busy signal.
 I returned the call & message said it was the M.S. Society at 1 800 361 2985.
 I wonder if the M.S. people realize they are being used like that.

11th July 213. Received calls from this number on three consecutive days. no response from the other end.

THEY ARE A SCAM AGENCY - using the pretext that there is an outstanding bill that is damaging your credit rating... they sound as trustworthy and honest as the current Prime Minister of Canada - therefore beware!

I've received dozens of calls and I've even answered and no one is on the line (very annoying.)  

Tonight I called back and if you listen to the options, they do have the option of not to receive any further phone calls.  I requested that they stop calling.  If it persists after this I will call again and tell them I will no longer be donating to their cause.  I hope I don't have to do that.., but enough is enough

The MS Society keeps calling me from about 5 different numbers on a daily basis.  The caller ID is always Anonymous....very annoying!!!!

I got a call yesterday and another today with caller ID name Anonymous as well. I just called back and it was The Multiple Sclerosis Society calling about their 2012 Campaign.

I keep getting calls from this number everyday...only let it ring three times so I never make it to the phone. ..called the number back today...Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

This is AIC, Allied International Credit.  This company has been calling every day, sometimes 3 times a day.  I'm not even the person they're looking for, but I refuse to answer calls from "anonymous".  Finally they left an automated voice message, looking for someone about a "personal business matter.  You may have outstanding equipment that needs to be returned."  Lies, they are a collection agency.
