LMAO genius. The BBB is a business review company. Like yelp. Not the government. The BBB can't do anything aside from badmouthing them on the internet LOL

Their BBB rating has now become an "F".
If you get a call from these idiots ask them to send you proof via email (create google account and don't use your real name) - guaranteed you will receive nothing.
The BBB is looking into this company, and hopefully they will be charged with fraud.

There really is not much collection agencies that are registered with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Most agencies get poor ratings because of the nature of their business and usually are unable to satisfy the consumer's complaint, which stems from the company the money is owed to.

I occasionally get a call from this number (416-232-0031). If I don't answer and the answering machine picks up, they won't leave a message, so I conclude that it is not important. Today, while the phone was ringing, I picked up and hung up right away and they still called back, but I did not answer and they still won't leave a message. So, how important can their call be?
Kev 2011-06-06 20:48:42 Unknown
Have called today. Heavy British accent on msg machine. The name some what sounds like my sir name. Will wait for another call b4 answering.
Margo 2011-06-06 20:48:42 Unknown
Got a call form them today and they left a message. Some computer voice (who can not properly read my last name) - tells that they have to collect my debts (but as far as I know I do not have any).
Sincerely 2011-06-06 20:48:42 Unknown
Been getting calls for months now from them; a computer voice demanding me to call them on a 1-866-number to get a settlement on a overdue debt. Now that I know that's a scam number I won't pick up anymore.
chris 2011-06-06 20:48:42 Unknown
Is a scam...I got called from them also. Basically the company are looking to collect debts for someone of a similar surname and are taking chances that you are them or know them.

The Better Business Bureau gave Bond Street Collections (BSC) a rating of "D" ... not good.

The 416-232-0031 and the 866-865-5252 and 1-877-2663 number belong to a fraudulent company. It belongs to a company run by a woman named Sheryl Teplitsky. They send out fraudulent letters on behalf of fake companies such as Just Energy or Ontario Energy Savings - Hydro. I received a letter from them saying I owe them money, which I know is not true because my hydro bills are always paid on time. Apparently they got hold of personal information possibly from Toronto Hydro who sent a letter to it's customers on July 23,2009 indicating that personal information had come into the possession of a third party.
Do not pay this bill. I don't see why police cant just go to the address and arrest these people. The letter had the company's address as ste 510-56 Aberfoyle Cres. Toronto, On M8X 2W4.
My letter was sent by someone named Mr. Armando but there was no signature.
This is all bogus.

As far as I understand they are a collections agency... how ever I find them dicy at best.. can't get a hold of them and they hired a lawyer to threaten me to pay them... when I call I get everyone is busy after many rings.
try and call them and see what you come up with.
