Interesting that, according to posts on this site, this number has been inactive for almost 2 years. Called me 3 times today - am in Toronto. No info on call display, so I did not answer. Assume, since we are in an election cycle probably some political party?

I keep getting calls from this phone no 416 238 1165  I have no idea who it is thats calling. I have gotten 3 of these calls per week. I just got a call today. No one was there when I said Hello.

Just got me otta bed at 930 pm... Not impressed!!

This number keep calling me several times in the day.  I just received another call at 7:29 pm.  I called this harassment.

Please stop calling, am looking after my  very ill mother, please remove my name and phone number, from your list, thanks

This is a calling number for the Progressive Party of Ontario.  When you dial back to have your number to be removed, they do not have this option.  So all I did was leave my number and asked to be removed from the caller list.

I will never type PC again!!

I LOVE my Panasonic phones. This number calls me frequently, but they should be gettin the message now. My phones pickup the call, and holds it for one second, then hangs up.

Get yourself a phone with call blocking. And because it picks up the phone, they get charged for the call. I lnow they only get charged pennies, but if millions do this, it gets expensive fast for the caller.

Political Survey

In my case, they were contracted by the PC party of Ontario (might have been the party itself, but I doubt it) asking if I was intending to support them.

I politely declined to participate in their survey and asked to be removed from their calling list. The caller immediately initiated the removal process and provided me with a confirmation number of the removal without further prompting or explanations.

Granted, I wish they hadn't interrupted me at dinner time with an unsolicited call in the first place, but at least they were responsive with the removal request. Unfortunately, this particular call, while annoying and inconsiderate, was legal because it was a political call. I'll be blocking the number anyway, but this might not be an option for everyone. Make sure you ask them to remove you before the call ends, if you bother to pick up.
