Got a call from this number to my home phone at 6 o clock. It was a wrong number he was looking for his friend. All in all the conversation lasted 30 seconds. Wished him a good evening and he apologized. No harm, no foul.

I called and asked to be removed from their calling list.  emailed them and asked same.  they keep calling after being told numerous times to stop calling. and because they are a political party they are allowed to call.  this is "legal harassment"

why is the pc party using a person's name?  doesn't it usually show up as the party calling you/

Get rid of BELL, and sign up with Wightman or some other phone company. I can block anyone with my Wightman service. (and a lot cheaper too!). Bell has garbage customer service an inflated rates!

Here is an extract from a chat I had with Bell Support online after I tried to add this number to my Call Screen list, and it wouldn't let me.
Rhoda: Thank you for patiently waiting. I just did an little investigation and the reason why you are unable to add that number is because it's not a residential number but a telemarketer's one. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. What I suggest you do is call the National Do Not Call List and ask for your number to be registered to not receive any telemarketing calls. Their direct number is 1-866-580-3625.

Ray : I already did when it first came out - it doesn't seem to work

Bell: Oh, I'm really sorry. Since the number is a telemarketers' you really won't be able to add it to your screen list. Only residential home phone numbers can be added on the list to be screened.

Ray : So why are telemarketers calling me when I am on the NDNC list

Bell ; Actually there are exceptions.

Ray : I see

Bell : ? Calls made by or on behalf of charities registered under the Income Tax Act.

Bell : ? Calls made for purposes of elections, surveys, and solicitations for subscription to newspaper of general circulation.



Bell: I'm really sorry. As I can't verify what kind of organization the number is under, most probably they fall under the exceptions to the rule.

This company calls at least 4 times a day. It is getting to the piont of harrasment.I have a heart condition and my wife has COPD and has to turn her machine off to answer the phone and the oxegen machine has to start up after that.

These people call every day 3 - 4 times. Tehy don't leave messages   and when you call back the Ontario PC party is on lunch. Really they can stop the calling already.

While wishing a telemarketer gets killed in a car accident is somewhat over the top, I do understand the frustration. I am getting far too many of these annoying calls. The do not call registry does not apply to political parties, charities or newspapers. It should include everybody. However if you call me looking for something, you have less than a snowballs chance in hell of getting anything. I will not deal with or talk to telemarketers. I pay for my phone for my personal use. I am NOT paying for it for some shyster to try to sell me something that I do not want. NOBODY IS GOING TO GIVE YOU SOMETHING FOR NOTHING!! EVER!! The CRTC is just simply useless. I have made numerous complaints and never heard a word back from them. They could be disbanded tomorrow and no one would ever know. Get an answering machine and do not answer calls from anyone that you do not know.

Received a call from this number (416-238-1502) ... just did a reverse look up and it looks like the number belongs to Mazhar Alvi.  It was a female who spoke, asking us if we support the PC party and looking for financial support to the tune of $200.00.  Told her emphatically no, that I wasn't working and that I simply do not financially support political parties.  She apologized and thanked me and asked if I could support them at the polls then!!  Isn't this illegal???

Really it's becoming very disturbing @ stressing from these stupid number . They call more then 5 times in a day . I never replied but still the calls come in .

right! and I don't flash my high beams to warn about radar traps because there are some gangs that use that as a sign to attack you.

She said that they are the PCC party. How-ever this individual is phoning every-day; a couple times a day-so I doubt it, now.
It is becoming very annoying because I answer, and they hang up.

Got a call from this phone number at 3:25 Sunday June 10, 2012. Just heard heavy breathing.

# just called but nobody on the other line when I answer. When I call it, I just get a busy signal.

rec'd a call today SUNDAY @ 12:07.......said ON PC Party......I said a few choice words and hung up....the real Ontario PC Party should shut this person down..whether they're scamming or not.....this annoyance is not doing the ON PC Party any good and I've been calling their offices for months about these calls....where is the leadership here? Is there no one at the helm?

Picked up their call.  They identified my name.  It is Ontario PC Party seeking for financial support.  I frankly told them I don't support their leader.  They politely hangup.

This number calls us in the 705 area at least 3 or 4 times a day, every day now for weeks.  I have a Panasonic portable phone and it has the option to block up to 30 calls.  Every time a see a strange number come up on the screen, I never answer, then I take that number to either Google or Bell reverse lookup to see what it's about.  If it is a scammer, I block the number.  I just bump the oldest number and put the new one in when I get to 30.  It didn't take long to fill up the blocked callers list.  This number is the most persistent I have ever seen.  All they get at my end is one ring and then it goes to blocked caller and all they get is a busy signal because it's blocked, but still, every day they call, over and over.  It's either automated or they are really dumb! Extremely irritating.....whoever it is should get a life because it appears they are on the phone 24/7.

They keep calling 2-3 times a day. Last night it was 9pm and my husband answered the phone and told this guy to stop calling our house. His response was that he has never called our house before. Bull!! Sooo annoying! Stop harassing us!

Perhaps it is a Liberal who has hijacked the number from Mr. ALVI,MAZHAR and then claiming it's the PC party of Ontario?...

same here several calls in one day. The call back stated it was the PC Party of Ontario. I do not think it is, as they are smarter than that to annoy potential voters. I am in Tim Hodak's home riding, his people never done this before.

It's the ONTARIO PC PARTY - they've called us 3 x a day for the last 3 weeks! Very annoying!!! For sure they'll never get my vote!

I've received 3 calls from this number today and that is only today. Its about 930pm and they just called here and I called back and it was an asian guy. Had no idea about what I was talking about. Said his number has been Hijacked. He surely did not sound like someone from the conservative party.

Getting really tired of this number (416-238-1502) calling me...STOP IT ALREADY...and get a life.
