Just wonder, what is the population in Canada? Is that just less than 20 people ?
If there are more than 20 people, how come these folks keep calling the same group of people.
Even keep changing their phone number to call, it increase their capital cost because they have to subscribe to a bulk of phone numbers. Since all of us that they are harassing ain't buy their story. For what? What are they going to gain?
It's also strange to me that they have operate for a few months/years now...no victims at all(maybe their sale pitch is really bad)? How come no victim contact police? and how come no law enforcement are after them?
Recently I got numerous phone calls(with different themes, air-duct cleaning; bahama cruise; Eco-energy), all manage by the same telecommunication company(same as this caller). Are they all related?
In my option, all these phone calls don't look a little bit like telemarketing to me.
Just hope someone can give me an answer.

Harassed us twice in one day again, once from this number, once from 416-247-2978. Same ignorant non-English speaking boiler room loser repeating "I am calling from Air Duct Cleaning", when I asked for the company name again, he got mad and blurted out a similar name, and then followed that up with "Ok? Ok? Air Duct Cleaning OK?".  

Filed a complaint for both numbers and blocked them.

It's not telemarketer. It's from collectcent looking for a delinquent accountee.
By law, they cannot contact the delinquent accountee's neighbors, friends and relatives.
This is another method of getting a hold of the person they are chasing after.
They only call a small number of people in one or two days then off for awhile. Does not make any economic sense if they are truly telemarketer. Also they are rude, if they are really telemarketer, even if you (the potential customer) not buy anything from them this time, you might buy something else from them next time, so why be rude to your potential customer. Does not make any logical sense to me.

I got a call from these scammers today as well as:

1-778-775-1534 - within minutes of each other.

ALL are Scam Calls - a legit company displays its name, or will leave a message AND they respect the Do Not Call Lists.  The idea that scammers get the lists and call is a fallacy.  Any 'win a prize/survey/reduce rates/etc.etc.' that does not mention a REAL company name are fraudsters and part of organized crime.

They use a computer and VoIP internet connection, and a robo-dialer, and dial numbers in sequence.  They do not know you; and do not CARE about Registries.  Once you answer or press ANY buttons, it flags your number as 'valid' - you get more calls and they share/sell that data to others.

Check the RCMP Top Scams website - these are ALL scams to get your personal data and credit info or income level - to create Fake IDs in your name and commit more fraud!  Don't answer, and just hang up.

Report the number with date & time of call, and type of scam, to your anti-fraud unit.  If you want to help, do that and write your elected official asking them to fund against telecommunications fraud.  Remember it takes time and international government cooperation to gather the evidence (or change laws) to shut these b.....ds down and prosecute them.  Be part of the Solution!

Called this morning, didn't answer and no message left as per usual. A google search of the number found complaints on other similar sites from the last few days saying they were another rude, ignorant Air Duct Cleaning scam call.

Strangely enough exactly an hour after this call, I received another call (10:56am, and then 11:56am) but this time I answered and it was another moron claiming to be from Bell, but was calling from a fake number from another boiler room.

I have filed numerous complaints with whatever Canadian agencies I can find applicable, and blocked the numbers, but this is ridiculous. These idiots need to be stopped.
