I have health problems and had to back out of his program.  I gave him $1800 and he refused to refund any of it.  My fault for being dumb.  His Karma.

Somehow I missed these reviews.What I was promised in the program was different from what I was receiving. The MONEY BACK Guarantee appears to have loopholes that are making it feel impossible to have my request granted.. thus far.. Any recommendations?

Yes, I am having the same problem. He is wasting paper, ink and our good time.

OTTAWA ? Canada?s telecom watchdog has slapped three telemarketers with the first ever fines for violating the national do-not-call list.

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission fined Toronto weight-loss coach Rob Sugar $4,000, Toronto?s Roofing by Peerless Mason Ltd. $10,000 and Waterproofing by Peerless Mason Inc. another $10,000.

Sugar and Peerless Mason were taken to task for faxing advertising to Canadians who added their phone and fax numbers to the do-not-call list.

Ed Nelson, an employee at Flintstone Glass & Mirror in Mississauga, said he called Wayne Gould of Peerless Mason to complain but the flyers kept coming.

?It went on for two years,? Nelson said. ?We got seven or eight every day.?




Gould could not be reached for comment.

The CRTC received 529 complaints about the contractor and 336 calls about Sugar between October 2008 and June 2009.

Sugar said people called his office complaining about his faxes, but he didn?t think he was doing anything wrong because he had outsourced his advertising to a third party. ?I didn?t realize that I was responsible for them maintaining the list,? he said.

Fines are calculated based on the number of complaints the CRTC receives, the level of co-operation from telemarketers, their size and ability to pay, the CRTC?s John Traversy said Wednesday.

If more people had complained, ?there is a possibility the fines could have been greater,? he said. ?But our intent is deterrence, we don?t have an objective to put anyone out of business.?

Sugar and the Peerless Motion companies have 30 days to pay the fines.

I would never trust Rob Sugar. I beg you to give your money to a trusted professional that you have been referred to. I can't warn you enough.

Rob Sugar is a fraud in so many different ways. I would never give this man money. Check with BBB and the Ministry.

yes...same complaint .  He is obviously much more interested in cash and bugging people with his faxes than he is about psychotherapy and his practice.

I tried to have my number removed by calling the number as stated on the fax and I also tried to remove it using the website. When that did not work I did some research regarding the 416-322-2792 and www.stopfaxing.com

I am a lawyer.  I have sent him a letter advising him that I will be charging him $70 as a fee for each fax communication, plus $0.50 (disbursement).

Similarly have been receiving these faxes for years, despite many requests to have it stopped.  Why can't Bell or the CRTC end the bureaucracy and just shut him down?  It would be a great help to us ordinary people who are paying their salaries to act usefully on our behalf.

I have wasted so much time at work trying to find out what to do - I've left countless messages, same as everyone here.  What is his FAX number?  That is what I was trying to get - he'll get a fax or two from me!

With so many unhappy people receiving these unwanted faxes, it still amazes me that no one has organized a group and taken legal action.  I reported it to Bell Canada who said they would advise him to stop.  I called Roger's since he is their customer.  I reported him to the CRTC who said it was up to the phone company to stop him.
Well,  all that has failed since I just received another fax from him. I have 24 junk faxes to date (Sept. 4/08)

You could always continue to try and contact him on his toll free number. If he is costing you time and money, I don't believe you would have a problem using the toll free and tying up the line. The info is:

File a complaint with your provider. They will send a warning letter to cease and desist. You will need to keep accurate notes of when you call them to remove your number, how many times etc. This has worked for us with previous offenders. Hope this helps.

I intend to send him a registered letter telling him to remove my numbers from his list.
If that does not work I suggest everyone start faxing his business line so that he can't use it for his regular business.

THE BEST WAY TO HAVE THE FAXES STOP IS TO TAKE THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT,  AND CLAIM LOSS OF TIME, PAPER AND INK.  IT WORKS EVERYTIME. These Morons should be prosecuted for harrassment.

These constant faxes are an HARASSMENT.  Will now refer the matter to FTC / Bell / Authorities.

Will not stop faxing me about "Emotional Eating" and weight loss clinics.  This has been going on for YEARS.  I have spoken to Rob Sugar, as well as given my fax # to get removed from companies that he uses to fax information.  He refuses to do anything about removing my phone number from his data base.

Unwanted faxes, will not stop sending me junk faxes. Have requested them to stop countless times.  Spoken to company that uses them www.robsugar.com.  It is a weightloss clinic.  Mr. Rob Sugar will not get this company to stop faxing.  This has been going on for YEARS.  I feel very helpless in this regard.
