This phone number is for an outside telemarketer. I finally answered it to see who the h*ll it was calling all the time w/o leaving a message, They were calling on behalf of the American Red Cross--I'm a monthly donor who cancelled my credit card and forgot about their charging it monthly. Very polite canadian woman (accent in full effect).

This number shows up on your phone, but when you ask the "duct cleaning " salesman his phone number.. he gives you 905-683-9962...  
Heavy Indian/Pakistani/Asian accent/   but his name is "Kevin McAlister".???

If you try to call back the 416-342-6188 number,   it tells you it's out of service.
They call relentlessly, and are a pain.

For just over a week I have received calls from this number but they hang up.  Then I try calling back and no one answers.  I would like to know who is calling.  I *69 and got the number but not any information.

Calls and doesn't leave a message.  Call back using caller id blocking and it rigns twice then goes busy.  Call without call blocking, it rings twice, and then the ring tone "changes" as if it was forwarded somewhere else from the first number.

One says its Telus, and another says its a indian man who calls to sell a phone with a great plan, but when bought he does not deliver, your money gone,.... he also asks for all your info!

I have received a few of these calls from 416-342-1518. I answer, they ask for me personally, I said "not home, can I take a msg, the man, sd no I will call back" and h/u. I tried to call it back, and a male voice said not in service.. its very annoying, who the heck is it?

       I just got a call from an indian or pakistani man asking for me spasificlly, I replied "Yes this is me but my phone is going a little screwy, Give me a sec, Sorry I couldn't understand you, could you please repeat what you said? All he did was say and I qout "Sorry for bothering you, Have a good day. As soon as he hung up I called back thinking he missherd me, All I got was a recording saying and again I qout " Welcome, And thank you for calling V.N.P world wide, International number provider, The phone number you are calling is not in service, please cheak the number and dial again. I searched V.N.P. world wide, I.N.P. world wide as well as the number itself and could even find anything remotly related.

The first call started jan 4 08 they said they where from bell,they offered me a free cell phone,with a really good plan, so i agreed to it gave them my credit card num plus my drivers licence,they said my phone would be here in aweek.second phone call from them jan 10 08 we verified my info said my phone would be here jan 11 08 around noon.It is now jan 17 still no phone called bell they have no record of anything,they also told me they dont do cold calls.they send out flyers.This company needs to be stopped..... 416-342-1518/073-120-2700

I called Fido and gave them this URL and asked to be removed from any telemarketer lists. In this day in age, this sort of telemarketing is the worst for of marketing. I mean, it's worse than someone saying "Hey Jerk, wanna buy my services?". I was assured that within 2 weeks my number would be removed from the list. This suggests that all telemarketer numbers are known (many of them used by the ISP's and cell carriers). I also pointed out the obvious that this makes Rogers/Fido look bad and that anyone can search a number in Google and find websites like this.

Just received a call from them.  These random calls on my cellphone during the work hours is becoming unacceptable.  Anyways, Claucojo, thanks for the link and easy access of information.

Just called here a minute ago.  I've gotten to the point where where if I don't get full Caller ID info (ie name & number) I just let it go to voicemail.

I have received numerous calls from this number and when I answer there is no reply and if I call that number htere is no answer.  I do not want to receive any more calls.

Called tonight twice, private name then 342-1518. No Answer

I received a call last evening.

It seems they are running some kind of "too good to be true" telemarketing campaign for Rogers Cable.

I talked to two individuals, Harry the customer service representative and Nash his supervisor.

Very annoying, no product knowledge and very unprofessional.

Just did some resarch on the internet and found this as a contact for Telus integrated Communications....I too have been getting these bothersome calls. Let's see how they like it. Please feel free to call this number and leave a message to this individual voicing your concern and annoyance at what they are doing. I am also including an email address for the VP. I got this info of a Government site where they were applying for licencing.

This is the only way to get our message across to stop bothering us!

if it a guy on the other line, i let him do his 5 minute scripted sales pitch, then i ask him a to repeat it louder, then ask him some related questions, then i ask him to hold, pretend my dooog is chewing on somthing, then i place the handset on a speaker and crank out the lodest gutar rift i have on hand.

Been receiving calls from this number on a daily basis.  I called the number back and got an automated message: "Welcome and thank you for calling DID World Wide, International Numbering Provider..."

DID numbers are very difficult to trace.  Good luck investigating.  :)

I have recently contacted bell to havce my name removed from their calling list and as well i have also filed a form to remove me from any and every calling list in canada (via the CMA) qand yet nothing of a resolution has come i have now proceded to contact the CRTC in regards to taking lgal activity if nothing is done about this. I hate Bell and would not go back even if they were the last company on the planet for phone service.

I have been getting calls from this # and it is driving me crazy, at least 4 times a day and the first time tonight I picked it up and said Hello, Hello, and no one answered and then they hung up.
I did put in a complaint to the CRTC and let's see what happens.
I am going to pick up the phone next time they call and let them have it !!!!!!!

The guy calls, sometimes after 9 p.m. he implies that he is from Bell Canada but when I ask for him to state flat out tht he is from Bell Canada he hangs up.

Caller hung up as soon as I answered. I pretty sure I received a previous call from this number and was hung up on mid sentence.
