I did call back. I followed their directions to remove my number. I keep getting calls. The worst of it is, no-one says anything. They just call, I answer, they breathe and then they hang up.

They call several times a day and never leave a message. As long as I'm not billed for that, they can go F**K themselves.

They have tried my line similarly..... 12 times in a 24 hour period... I have the fortune of being able to block them on a newer phone I purchased...

Also similarly, I will not vote conservative or Canada's version of the tea party (Hudak) as legislation for DNC protected their own interests as politicians need for polling.... I say let them wait until Election Day as to what the poll is - that way they will get an absolute final snapshot

Stratcom has called every single day 18 times in 2 hours. This is considered as harrasment. I sent an email to have my phone number removed from their list, received an email back saying they had removed it and again every single day 18 times in 2 hours. There has to be some place to report this type of harrasment.

You tell them, man. Garbage men are hard workers doing important work in a city, even if it isn't prestigious. Telemarketers are dumping more garbage on us. And they get to sit in a clean office, while garbage men must deal with the stench and dirt of garbage rain or shine. What trash.

It's too bad you're not qualifed for honest work, but that's your problem not ours. If you can't take the heat get out of the boiler room, otherwise get used to the abuse because it's only going to get worse. Honest people are sick and tired of your calls.

Human garbage that can't make a real living? That may be your opinion, but the person calling you, it's a JOB that allows them to pay bills, rent, put food on the table and clothes on their back. Yes, it's annoying to get a call from these call centers, but remember...the person on the phone has no control over the contracts picked up by the call center they work at. They're told to call people, do the survey/make the sale/whatever. Hope you don't have the same lowly opinion of your garbage man, or the cashier at your local supermarket.

Received a call today at 1;03pm.This woman ask for me by name,but didn't pronounce my last name right so I told her she had the wrong number.Stupid foreigner, learn how to speak English before you enter the Country of CANADA!!!!

Is it possible that these pariah who call are loser companies who trade our numbers back and forth between them, the value of  each number depending upon evidence of someone answering?  I have been operating on this theory by never answering an unknown number, as displayed.  Anyway, a theory of some kind helps with the frustration.

Well, if it wasn't for the opposition and their thinking that we require 4 federal elections in 7 years, then there wouldn't be these phone calls.

This number is awful...keeps calling and hanging up when I answer.  It wouldn't be so bad if someone was actually there when I answered, but nobody is there, and they just keep calling.  
I did call the number back and i put my number on their do not call list...they said it will take 48 hours to remove the number, and in the meantime, they keep calling.  I just don't answer the phone anymore.
Between these people and the local politicos calling, it's driving me nuts.
The last time the local politicians called to see who I was planning to vote for, I told them I would vote for whoever calls me the least, but if someone shows up at my door, all bets are off, lol.
I thought votes were supposed to be private; sheesh...they have no business calling to see how people will vote.
I think more Canadians would vote if their was one more option on the ballot:   "none of the above".

I won't be voting Conservative because under their watch the scum bag calls have never been so bad. Right after the "do not call" list was created, all of the sudden everyone I know who signed up is getting hammered. Why? because the scum bag idiot conservatives made the list available to anyone with $50. That's right so what the scum telemarketing companys did was get the list of all the legit numbers and got other companies from OUTSIDE Canada to do their dirty work LEGALY. I removed my number after getting 4 calls a day for the last 4 days...it says it will take 48 hours to remove it, so we'll see.... super annoying though!

I keep getting calls from this outfit and get a recording mentioning elections Canada and when I try to get rid of this out fit by punching in my phone number I get a recording saying my number is invalid.Wonderful

I have been getting these dammed calls repeatedly and when try to unsubsribe by punching in my phone number as required I am told it is an invalid number.Wonderful.

I work from home and I receive anywhere from 3-10 calls from this number a day. Sometimes as early as 6 am and as late as 10:30. I've stopped picking up because it just hangs up in my ear then goes to a dial tone.

This needs to stop.

This is an election poll calling, they called me three times in a row on a Sunday morning, like 5 minutes apart. P.s. here's my polling info, all four leaders suck, Canadians are getting ripped off. :)

This company is calling to do a survey on Elections in your area.

Three calls in the last two days;  there's never anyone on the other end of the line when we answer.   Now that I know what it is, I'll send calls directly to answering machine.

It's not a telemarketing call it's a telefundraising and/or poll for a not for profit organization.  "Strategic Communications Telefundraising & Polling Dept"  

Call the number back people, you get a recording telling you what the call was about an an option to leave your name and number to be removed from their caller's list.  It's not rocket science!  Most of these numbers you can call back to opt out of their caller's list.  You have to be proactive or calls will continue.

The phone keep calling so many times and hang up when I ask them speak loudly or repeat her words. I believe this is garbage company or person.
