caller claimed to be from survey company DBM,  and doing a survey and my call would be recorded, advised not interested in my call being recorded and hung up.

It's a company called BBM Analysis. Looking to survey television and radio trends. How they got my cell is beyond me.

Damn thing could not speak English.

This number was used for a phishing attempt at fraud.

They claimed that my Windows computer was sending out messages and they would like to help me fix it, I'm sure after I gave them all my personal information.

WOW! I'm so special that Windows is calling little ol' me?!?!?

I'm on a Mac by the way and the company is Microsoft not Windows.

ICT Group is a boiler room telemarketing agency that sell scams from the USA using call centers worldwide because it's too expensive to pay north americans to flog crap over a phone.

If you are on the DNC list it does not matter anymore.  Your government does not care a wit about what you want.

The comments made regarding this phone number are false. The person that made this comment was a client of the company and he committed fraud against Moneybay. The reason this post was made is to give a negative impact on the company and the CEO as a form of retaliation after this client went bankrupt.
The contract that Moneybay had with this person was for a series of loans adding up to $150,000. After said client was not able to pay the amount loaned the company took legal action and the client went bankrupt.
Therefore, the statements made about this company and about this phone number were set in an attempt to harm the reputation of both the company and the CEO. It would be greatly appreciated if this could be corrected or if this post could be eliminated from the database.

this number is AIC collections and they need to teach their hired help how to correctly speak to people on the telephone because they have the same manners as my 3 year old.Be prepared to have someone speak to you with food in their mouth too

I keep getting these too....3 in the last ten mins.

All I could hear were beeps, didn't call back as I didn't want to pay long distance. Recieved another call with in minutes from 416 861 0870 with the same thing,

i picked up but no one spoke

Got a call from them it was BBM Canada wanting to do a survey about ratings and wanted to see what we watch and networks we like.

No company\caller information on call display, only a phone number - which I answered as it was local.

Asked for me by name and claimed to  be BBM Research doing survey on radio stations, or some such. Told them to remove my number,

This number called twice today, once at 2:57pm and again at 5:50pm

Called today at 6:30 p.m. No caller ID . Was out - no msg left. In August I bought a new cordless Panasonic phone - u can block numbers yourself on the phone itself without having to pay Bell for that service. Best investment I ever made.

I got a call from a friend who was calling me from Skype. Usually caller ID says 0000123456 when people call from Skype. It didn't bother me, I just thought it was something new...

I keep seeing this number over and over and decided to google and see if it's a crank call and sure enough it is. I'm never home in the day so good luck trying to scam me. It won't work sweetie.

Found this number has called me twice more.   Calling it back gets an intercept that it is not in service.

said calling from rogers data collection, had my name and address, but asked my postal code for security purposes. I said rogers never ask me for address verification, they only ask for passcode. He said ok - give it to me.
I told him kids are troubling me - call later.

Called 3 times today, at 10:18am, 1:03pm, and 3:19pm

Called twice so far today, 10:31am and 1:17pm

phoning one to four times a day and hanging up on voice mail...really annoying...i would never buy anything from a telemarketer

I have been getting 2 or 3 calls a day from this number and it does not leave a message. I want it to stop!

Called again, at 9:41am today.  The Caller ID box intercepted the call and life is good.
