I just received a call from 416-361-1979 from a guy who says he was from Rogers and that the service is down. Odd, I do not have Rogers then tried to verify some Toronto address. I was very annoyed, off my line scammer.

Hey this person called and I had a big argument with them, they said they are from Microsoft and that I was downloading too much things causing problems for my computer and that it was clogging up my junk box in my operating system , he wanted me to go onto my computer and go though steps to fix this issue , when I refused to do so, cause I was busy he got rude with me it's a total fraud my friend told me he wanted me to go on and follow steps to hack into my computer so if anyone asks you to do this DON'T its a major SCAM

Someone from this number called saying they are calling from Visa card company naming different banks names trying to gather information about card and card holder. While asking questions he got messed up and couldnt answer anymore.

Woman - heavy Indian accent has called and offered financial advice services.

Yesterday, on November 30, 2011, we received a phonecall from this number (416-361-1979) as well.
A man told me that he was calling about my computer.  He subsequently said: "You have a computer, right? With Windows?"  
He received no information from me and he hang up.
We are on do not call list.

Well, they gave me a couple of days without them calling, but called today (Aug 19).

These idiots are persistant, I'll give them that.  Just got back from a trip and found they called:

Been getting calls from 416-361-1979 for over a year. Just signed up for Call Block and finally blocked this number. Sad that I have to pay Bell for this serve at $6.95 to keep spam/telemarketing calls from bothering me at home, where I conduct my business from. Something wrong with this picture!

This is a real pain...I have even tried to fax them back but no luck.

they have been annoying us for a long time. I answered once and told me it was important.

I have been getting them constantly (when I answer is a fsx machine tone) I tried to fax and call the number to no avail.  since I have call display, I wrote myself the number do not answer as is annoying.... hopefully they will lget the message and remove my number from their list, whom ever they are.  there should be a law against callers like this.  I did find out it was a telemarkering company that uses long distance calls over the computer line but I could not find whom in specific.

This number just called my place of buiness and left a weird message - it sounds like he did not know it was recording - then he hung up.

Found this number on my caller id box when I got home.   Tried calling it back, but got a message that the number isn't in service.  WTF?

the party is sending faxes on our land line 905 890 8689 from the number shown since last two years. I am the service manger of EIKI CANADA.If you can help me obtaining the informations about or you can send them the notifications for not to use this number for any pupose.

These people called my "mother-in-laws" house, not even my own and asked for me, then 2 minutes later, a similar type of company called and asked for my husband at my mother-in-laws home. How and why? I have no idea?????

They call my house and claim they are collections and they want to get a settlement from you within 72 hrs. They wont send any hard copies when you request it and its always some dumb black b***h claiming she is better than you and tell you that if she doesn't recieve the money now she will take everything you have! SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and i already reported them to the police! Have fun faggits

Yet another call from this number.  No message (or fax) left.

Just got back from a weekend trip to New York city and found these guys called 3 times on Friday, twice on Saturday, and once on Monday.

Stop trying to blame other people! This number is officially linked to Skype and is displayed when calls are made through a voip service (internet calling). If this number is showing on your call id, someone is trying to call via skype. dont blame poor boris!
