Called and hungup

Received a call from this number and it showed up as Walker I.  They did not leave a message.

They called me last Friday night. Now today, Tuesday, they called my phone, then my wife's phone moments later. I never answer, and they don't leave messages. In the past other odd calls gave up after a few. Hope this goes as well.

Some people are saying Walker. I wonder if C.D. and Travette are there too. LMAO!!!

Also I know of some class action law suits that have been filed  so wake up and do your homework because I was included in  class action suit. knowing the law and your rights helps a lot.

you have a good idea about the blocking but you are wrong about filing a complaint with the FTC because I have and I stop debt collectors and telemarketers as well so I know first hand it works.

they are a counsaluting firm and maybe debt collector any way they make random calls hopeing to find the person they are looking for. If the call all the time report them to the federal trade commssion on line as they more than likely are a debt collector and commiting fraud because only the orginal crditor can call you and collect and sue , no one else its agianst the federal law for them to collect bbut there is big money in it for them because the orginal creditor sells the debt and the debt collectors buy it the debt becomes paid then because the original creditor then get their money for the account.

I've had two unidentified calls from this number.  The calls came on two consecutive nights, the first at 7:40 p.m. (cdt), the second at 7:50 p.m. (cdt).  Calls were made to my cell phone.  I usually don't answer calls that come in unidentified; I also won't call the number back.  If someone is legit, they will usually leave a message.  Thanks Everybody!

Same thing; they called, said it was the "gas company" and, when I told them that I had no services done and didnt know why she's calling, she sounded eager to leave the call.  I asked "well, why did you call if there's nothing wrong" and she said no, its a survey and hung up.  shady

just received a missed call from this number, who the heck is Walker Information systems?

Called my cell, 9/10/09, almost 7:00 pm.  Caller ID did not give a name.  They left no message.

Same call about "Gas Company"...the scary thing is they called 3 times in a row...I finally asked her who my "Gas Company" was....she replied that it was SDGE...weird! So, I called SDGE...they said they would report the number....blamed it on "Bill Matrix" and did not seem to comprehend the issue!

Someone from this number called me just now and insisted that someone from my house, she suggested "my husband" called "The Gas Company" for some type of service and they are calling to follow up on the service call.

I told her that I live here, the account with the gas company is under MY name, and I did not call for any service because there was nothing wrong with my gas!  She kept trying to talk to "my husband" or "anyone else that lives there" and was being so suspicious that I just cut her off.  She immediately said "it's not important" and "never mind" and hung up so fast all of a sudden I knew something was up with her.

I live in California but I recognized the 416 area code - it's in Toronto.  I don't know why my gas company in Cali would hire a company in Toronto to call me about my service, but my suggestion is if you get a call from this company to be careful or just don't bother picking up!

We get calls from this number after we called the line to restrict calls of this sort...

you have to wait till the Operator answers you, it will take a few. The number is from the Jail or Prison...

Fact 1 - the DNC list CLEARLY does not work!  Everyone knows this...or should know this!
Fact 2 - filing a complaint with the FCC does not work!  A total waste of time.  Done that.
Fact 3 - having an unlisted phone will not help you.
Fact 4 - asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list does not work!
Fact 5 - no "class action" suits are filed and certainly, this is not a remedy.   Many of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.

Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset.  Very, very convenient.

Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones.  They?re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd. wireless handset.  And they work beautifully!  These phones also block ?PRIVATE?, ?OUT OF AREA? and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every imaginable call list.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.  THEY CAN?T GET THROUGH!
We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.

RECEIVED A CALL AT 3:41 pm @ 3/14/11.
WALKER INFORMATION CALLING ABOUT ATHE SERVICE I RECEIVED AT A RECENT SERVICE VISIT FROM OUR LOCAL GAS COMPANY.
I WAS ASURED THAT THIS WAS NOT A SCAM CALL AND I WAS COOPERATIVE WITH THE CALLER UNTIL THE LADY TOLD ME THAT THE CALL WOULD TAKE "ABOUT 10 MINUTES."
I POLITELY TOLD THE CALLER THAT I WOULD NOT SPEND 10 MINUTES ON THE PHONE WITH HER.
SHE THANKED ME FOR MY TIME AND THEN HUNG UP.

Just recieved a call from them... I didn't answer, but my phone said Ontario, Canada.... I did answer a few Ad's on craigslist yesterday. Could be a connection? I don't answer my phone for numbers I don't know... So they can knock themselves out for all I care!
