All this would take is the FCC and the FTC to agree to make it illegal to FAKE or SPOOF caller ID info - then back it up with punishment that has 'teeth'.

The telephone companies HAVE the equipment to check the OUTGOING caller ID info and they should DENY the outbound call if the CALLER ID being sent out does NOT match the actual number of the caller.  

Wouldn't that be funny if they got a message - "we're sorry - your call cannot be completed - please CORRECT your OUT BOUND caller ID information and please try your call again."

Got a call on my cell yesterday, caller ID said Ontario. Glad I didn't answer.

We need the next Steve Jobs to invent some type of electronic counter measure to this nonsense. Anyone that can come up with an app or gadget that does that will make millions and millions.

the people that are involved with this phone number should quit their activities immedietly. Karma is real.

get a call every day with no responce on the other end - call the number back and a recording says the code or number you have dialed is incorect and the number is out of service - Iook the number up and it is a phoenix arizona number  - i am about to blow up the entire state of arizona F$#KING sick and tired of the bull s***

Just got a call from this number - was on another line - they never leave a voice mail.

I got so tired of these calls I bought a can of air with an air horn like you use on a boat. If someone answers I give them a blast of air horn.

Have got calls from this number at least twice a day for several days.
I have got to the point that I do not answer calls out of my area code. If it is important, they will leave a message.

I just got a call myself. They didnt say anything and when I called back I also got a busy signal. Out of revenge I want to say mean things about them even form a coalition of the willing to kick their butts, but ill leave it in Gods hand and He will see to their wickedness.

Call shows as being from Scarborough ON on caller ID.  I didn't pick up and no message was left,

Got this phone number.  For a long time I was not getting any calls at all from anywhere.  Now all of a sudden, they are starting in again.  Could it be there is something wrong with the phone system around the world.  DO SOMETHING.  IT IS ANNOYING.  I dialed the number and voice says it is out of service.  How can that be.

Answered and it was a recording offering to eliminate my debt to the IRS...I have no debt to the IRS, why they called me, I do not know.  this whole Do Not Call registry is a joke...Companies know the govt isn't going to do a damn thing about it so they just keep calling...what a great country we live in when you can't even get the govt to enforce their own laws!!!

ROBOCall - stating that president obama has started a deal for everyone that owes back taxes from the IRS.

The ignore button on my phone is a wonderful thing.

Received call from 416-412-0485 would not say anything.

I got a call from this number at 1:10 pm C.T. No messsage left. I looked the number up via whitepages.com and found this: M Alam (416) 412-0485 97 Robbinstone Dr Toronto, ON M1B 2C4 Then I googled and found all that everyone else had to say.

Answered the call and nothing but silence.

Same tax scam call as others have reported.

Missed this call accidentally...would have picked up as I am expecting a call from an unknown number. Glad I didn't...they did not leave a message. How in the world do they get our numbers when we are on the Do Not Call list. Thanks to all who reported they were scammers so I didn't have to waste my time calling them back.

My sentiments exactly....   I received my call from them today and I can just picture someone elderly getting this call.  Imagine them hearing it's someone calling about tax money still owed the IRS. I happen to KNOW we don't owe those b*****ds any $$ so I told them to F*ck off and hung up.  However some poor elderly person might panic and send them money they 'allegedly' still owe the IRS.

I'm so sick of laws that protect the abusers and leave the victims in the gutter.  Now there's a bill in the works that IF it passes.... would enable entities like banks, debt collectors... to phone your cell phone number any time of day.  WHAT????

Please do!  I wish someone would kick the cr@p out of all the @$$holes that violate the do-not-call list!  I'd f them all up if I knew who / were they were...

Received a call at work and it sounded like a recording. It said, something about the IRS.

Rec'd call from this number...Came up on caller ID as "Unknown Name." Said I owed money to the IRS and would throw me in federal prison if I did not pay. As I was speaking to the gentleman, I google searched the telephone number and found they are out of Canada! When I asked him how Canada could throw a US citizen in federal prison for owing money to the United States Federal Government, he hung up on me! Call the IRS and report to them! They will also give you a number in your state to report them to as well!!! Christmas is coming so watch out for scams like this!!!

They called with a recorded message that said " we want to talk to you about your current IRA".
I don't have an IRA.   They are violating the DO NOT CALL that I registered for.

Caller ID says OUT OF AREA.
