I am reporting them to the BBB rudest pushest people ever! Used the F word

I have searched the CRTC website and I'm unable to locate where this can be done.

Found a cancelled cheque while doing my books for 2013 for $727.65 made out to R & J Concepts. Dated Dec 13, 2013.
I also found out from my "head Injured, 70 year old senior husband" that he ordered Christmas gifts from this company.
OK, they would not be aware of the situation, so I sent them a letter asking them to take my phone number OFF their calling list and explained the situation.
Now I am afraid that they will not comply with my request after reading the above reviews.
Many years ago he ordered a case of light bulbs without me knowing and the invoice came to $3000.00.

Just got off the phone with one of the sexist R & J Telemarketers, asking for "The Big Guy".  Again, like others, these calls have been going on for years.  I tried to explain that I could help him with anything that he wanted to discuss, but he insisted that he talked to "the Big Guy" a few weeks ago & that he said he would call back.  Complete and absolute lie.  Then tried to make me give him someone's cell number, and insisted that he talk to a man.  Joke's on him - I am the (female) president of our family business and the decision maker about anything to do with company marketing.  Not that I ever, in a million years would purchase something from a company like them.  By the way, beware - this time they used a 705 area code.  I fully realize that telemarketing/calling to ask people to do surveys, etc. is an incredibly hard job.  Therefore, if presented in a nice, open manner, I will usually take the time to at least listen, or even let people email me a price list or brochure on occasion.  I have called them back, a few years ago, and tried to explain that their tactics are not doing them any favours.  I am actually shocked when reading this forum that they have actually made sales, the way they go about their sales pitch!

Love how you berate people for not giving their company name, when you guys tell me you are with a company that does business with us, and you need my boss' cell number NOW! Screaming at me over the phone!!! You are on a project and have legitimate business with us! What a load of BS! We just don't want to be harassed by you idiots anymore, so we would never be dumb enough to give you our company name. You people are a bunch of lying scum. Google your own company. If you are still proud to work for this company, you are bigger a$$es then I thought! Pathetic, all of you!

R & J Concepts has been calling our company for months.  I am absolutely disgusted by the tactics this so-called business has used to try and get to "The big guy" in our office. Finally googled them today and....surprise!!!! This is their normal business tactics! First off, our company would never deal with such a shady business! Hard core selling tactics, and substandard products are not how we run our business, so we certainly wouldn't be caught dead doing business with these yahoos! Secondly, I spent many years as a third party bill collector. Good luck getting past me. Thirdly, now that I know who I'm dealing with, I'm going to have fun with these morons! Can't wait for them to call again! :)

Yep, Jim Jones from R&J Concepts called us too.  'How are you?!! Can I speak to the Big GUY?"
my response was 'If you mean the owner, he's in a meeting. May I ask who's calling and I'll have him return your call."
Then Jim assured me that as soon as the BIG GUY heard the name..Jim.....Jim Jones...the BIG GUY would know exactly who's calling. And Jim would call back in a while."
hmmm....not wanting to stay on the phone with Jimmy...it took everything within me NOT to say ....'ok Jim Jones you're quite right the Big Guy will know.....everyone knows not to drink the kool-aid!'

I just got a call from Jim Jones too.....we are in Manitoba.
BBB sometimes isn't a very good indicator.....seeing as you 'buy' membership.
Just like Consumer Choice Awards....you win the title which you cannot boast or use till you pay approx $5000.

Bought some advertising gimic stuff from these people about 4 or 5 years ago.   They called constantly for about a year, then I haven't heard from them for about 3 years, they started calling again yesterday!   Ignoring the call buddy!   Wish I had caller block!

I have been dealing with this PAIN IN THE ROYAL A** company for literally years and years....always the same song and dance, always the same speech.....I wish someone would bomb the damn office because that's truly the only way we are ever going to be done with these ignorant individuals!!!!  
The moment I see the call display I pick up and hang right back up on them....Yes, they are wasting my time, yes, they are pissing me off, yes, I know they are useless and annoying.  BUT....it truly won't ever stop as long as they have any access to telephones and phone books/yellow pages, etc

Whatever you do do not deal with this company. They are not a legitimate company. They pretend they are trying to help your business. They send you very cheap Chinese made products with your name engraved. They call non stop and harass you until you agree to take something. I made the mistake of ordering sunglasses. When they arrived I had to pay $900. I was very disappointed. I called them back and wanted to know why the salesman lied. It was a song and dance. Not only did they lie about the item but they spelled my name wrong.

competitors??? I think your real competition doesn't really have to worry about a little weasel company like rj you guys do a good job ruining your name yourselves. Also you deffenetley do work for that company otherwise you wouldn't be defending them. Anyways reason I'm posting is because I purchased those same crap glasses ( the "NASCAR" ones)  they were brutal, looked cheap, print was off, basically totally useless for advertising , and to make matters worse the sales man I was dealing with  Bryan Oniell  was a crook and a liar. When I called the company and btw they try to sound all professional with there answering service saying " western canada offices, the states or Ontario offices" all calls go to a one location. So when I called repeatedly I may mind you guys,he simply disappeared until one rep finally spoke to me saying that he was probably on a relapse and laughed and hung up. Totally unprofessinal I will never do business with this company again.

Just curious to those who post on here, I worked in the industry and for R&J and saw some posts that I thought should warrent a response.   First off, its amaing how some of you post without at least being up front with your name or company when complaining, but what can you expect from cowards.   And moreso , Im guessing most of the negative posts are from competition in the industry trying to start bs.

I do not work for R&J but I go online on occasion and , I'd be surprissed if anyone whom is serious on here would sign their company name under their complaint.

I Never ever post on forums but I feel like I am ethically obligated to warn everyone out there to never do business with this company. I bought sunglasses from them and they weren't as advertised, they looked ugly and cheap, I won't even hand them out! I should have done my research before doing business with them because if I did I would have found out that many people have issues with rj concepts

Designer sunglasses can not transform your life, who are these people fooling? Maybe they should just stick there rosewood pens in a light socket and be done with it.

CAVEAT EMPTOR.  
Leaky water bottles replaced under duress by rosewood pens that have cracks in them and engraving that is out of level and off- center. Not the product a Renovation Contractor wants to give out.
Irrespective of the poor quality product, I have such bad feelings about this company I don't want to give out the barely passable product!
Please save yourself tremendous grief, time and money!
PLEASE REPORT TO BBB TO GET RID OF THEIR A+ RATING!!

I had a severe moment of weakness and bought 25 water bottles from R & J CONCEPTS. When they arrived we immediately tested them and 3 out of 4 LEAKED! Oh they couldn't believe that, and resisted, avoided and denied my complaints. For two months I called and called and they wouldn't offer me a credit or refund. These are trained, aggressive telephone people and they have staying power. I was definately played.
Because of their "disbelief" I was convinced ( to add insult to injury) to send them one of the leaking bottles, add $11.00 to my injury.
Two months of phone calls and the best I could get from them was they would INSPECT new "O" rings and send them to me. Recieved a motley collection of "o" rings, three different kinds, which also leaked.
IS THIS A JOKE? I have definately been punked!

I had a call from R&J or RNJ.  It was from some total ignorant knob by the name of "Jim Jones".  He asked for the "Big Guy" which is the major tip off that its a telemarketer.  I was tempted to bark back at him that "MISS SMITH" my boss would NOT take kindly to being called "BIG" nor "GUY" .... LOL!!

Perhaps I should pretend that I'M the "BIG GUY" after he removes his biga$$ foot from his filthy mouth.

These people need some training in tact, as well as sales, as it certainly seems that they haven't had any type of formal education (or informal for that matter) in sales.

I have just recieved a call from a totally obnoxious person from the same company with the same attitude and questions as you, the male asked for "the big guy" no name and when I asked him who he was, what he wanted etc he replied I have answered 5 of your questions now answer mine is he in?" totally rude when I said no he said I willtry his cell and put the phone down. I tried on two occasions to contact them back to complain and they stuck me on hold. If not the rcmp  then in the very least a complaint to the BBB, the laughable thing is IF they are the company that is on the net with regards to marketing...I am the person the ignorant oaf should have spoken to!

Rj concepts sells advertising stuff like coffee cups pens hats stuff like that our company uses them and we find they have good products

I bought some cheap, garbage knives about 5 yrs ago, guy called my cell and caught me walking to the coffee shop, I was bored so I listened. Once or twice a month I get a call on either my cell or office line. Every time its the same pitch : Hey how ya doin'? Hard at work? Another day another dollar eh? or something along those lines. After politely refusing the first 15 times or so, I now just scream and swear. I'm debating whether or not to actually get into threats and full verbal abuse. It always someone different yet they always sound like they're from Brooklyn.
They're scammers, debating going to their actual office next time I'm in the GTA and just pulling a full blown freakout.
That or seeking harassment charges.
Either could be fun.

You used to work for me. It sounds like the lace you are describing is another company in the industry.
