They called me in December and my wife placed an order with them for some engraved swag.
The items came two weeks ago and let me tell you, I am very impressed!
The quality was outstanding and the cost of the order was very reasonable.
I got exactly what I paid for half the cost of what my local guy was charging.

They didnt leave a message but from the other mssgs Ive read here, I remember this guy/company. He must get the names from the online livestock records. Theyve called here a number of times over the years, and the guy comes across as if you have some sort of personal connection..like "Hey how are you, long time since we spoke, first name, still got your (breed of) cattle??..."
He's a sleeze trying to sell promotional items.
Gallus 2014-04-14 02:25:50 Unknown
Sure you did. And I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd love to sell you....

What type of horses did you purchase?
Sharon 2014-04-05 02:38:27 Unknown
We received the items and they were fantastic. I never thought I would have gotten such a great deal from a guy that called me.
I highly recommend this company.

Just got a call at 7:15am which was picked up by answering machine. Left message that we needed to return call about our paint horses like they were interested. Thanks to those above who posted info. They are still making calls.

I got a similar call as several of the others, it was at 6:00 am. A guy name Mark left voice mail saying it was about my paint horses & yeah have them. He left a 800# with an extenstion. I thought it sounded funny and then I typed in the # he called from and seen these same complaints.

Email and voicemail received. This is a scam as we never used or talked to Maxx Global Concepts.
As mentioned on your voicemail earlier, I'm crossing my fingers that you can use these. Attached are the pictures of the flashlights we found during our warehouse move. 3 boxes of Nighthawk Cree LED flashlights engraved with your company logo.
Each of these flashlights are powered by a 3-watt high intensity LED which has 165 Lumens of power that can shoot a beam over 200 feet. They take 2 D-cell batteries and are 10? in length and come equipped with the Police barrel holster. (See attached Photos)
These Flashlights retail for $79.99, however, as these are already logo'd, we are willing to offer them to you at our cost of $20/pc. We will also engrave location info or event details under the existing logo at no extra charge. These make for great speaker gifts/safety awards.
We will honor a flat rate shipping fee of 10% to anywhere in North America.
You can pay for these whenever your budget allows, as I am unable to sell them to anyone else.
Let me know how many you could use.
Sincerely,
CHRIS HAWLEY

I got the same call as Darren - called my office, asking for my boss by name. Didn't really trust the company name that came up on caller ID (Maxx Global), so I wouldn't put the call through until he could tell me what it was about. Said he had spoken to my boss earlier in the year regarding an "amazing opportunity", and one had just come up. When I kept asking what the opportunity/promotion was about, all he would give me was the line that it was a promotion with Maxx Global, in conjunction with the Children's Wish Foundation and they do engraving etc etc etc.
Guy finally hung up, hope he doesn't call back.

This idiot calls at 530am and wanted to talk to my husband. Told him he was asleep . Asked him what it was about... he said the jerseys.which we have. Would not talk to me. Left a 800-373-6299 and an ext number to call him back when husband got up. Looked the number up on the interent to find out it is some promotional business.. Now calling at 530am is BS! and we are on the Do Not Call list..yah.. I see it really works these days.

REcieved a call from this company.........dude told me that 'Maxx Global" was an engrving company and wanted to sell me some engraved mugs with my company logo. Told me that portion of the proceeds go to the 'Children's Wish Foundation'. Sheeeesh, anything to make a sale on some garbage that I would never give to anyone! Jerk offs!

They keep sending pens in the mail....wanting me to buy a package of them for our business. After sending me a 1/2 dozen pens over the last two years, you'd think they'd get the fact that I'm NOT buying. Once you start, they hound you to death. They just dialed long distance and my answering machine got....Love costing them free pens (which I use...lol) and phone charges. Keep it up morons!!

just got at call from this number at 7 am....first of all not impressed with that..then they asked to speak to my husband. Told them he was not in, could I take a message, they gave me a 800 number, and said it was about Simmental Cattle. I then told him I was an equal partner in the business could I help him...then he had the nerve to say he needed to talk to the BIG GUY about this.....yeah right..

Received a call from 416-493-0429 , Bob with MGC ext. 250, wanting to know about our Angus cattle and to call him back at their 800 number. We are listed on the National No Call list and the Texas No Call list. I guess old Bob can't read and won't follow the law since he is in North York , Ontario, Canada, working for Maxx Global.

I just listened to a very brief phone message from this number. Instead of calling, I googled the number and found this site. Many thanks to all involved with this site. I probably spent as much time on the site as I would have on a return call without any of the frustration. Again, THANKS.

Had the same call as the alpaca lady - at 7:15 in the morning! Said his name is "Mark" but only after I asked - I suspect everyone at Maxx Global is named "Mark". Call was completely unsolicited.

A man from this company called and said I need to call him back about my alpacas. He made it sound like they were interested in them. However, in looking on the internet, it looks like it's a sales call. Said his name was Mark - gave an 1-800 number to call back...just a sales call.

Got a call from this number. Left a message about Shorthorn Cattle. We do raise Shorthorns so called back on 800 number and figured out the company name and googled it. This site came up. They must be mining breeder directories from our various breeders directories.

Wife and I have been divorced for 25 years. She's on the East coast and I'm on the West coast. She has had a different last name and number for 10 years and I have changed mine several times. These guys called her number and left a message for me about the Angus. I was a telecom engineer for 30 years and can't figure out how they were able to associate me with her number. Sometimes too much technology is just too much.
Laura 2010-10-07 15:51:50 Telemarketer
They are obviously harvesting phone numbers from livestock websites, etc. Would never do business with anyone who pretends they are interested in my alpacas to get me to call them. Then again, I will never do business with anyone who cold calls me.

received a call at 6:30 am--couldn't even pronounce our name. Asked briefly about our cattle, explained that he should call my husband. He said thanks sweetie, hung up.....and never called my husband!! the entire call was odd....

Today (7/19/10) I had a voice mail left on my cell phone - "This is Robert Hanley calling about the alpacas. Call me at 1-800-373-6299 ext 250".
As we have an alpaca farm and sell alpacas I called back. A woman answered with some unitelligible company name and I asked for ext 250. I left my office number at a Federal Agency which he isn't likely to correspond with voluntarily. He has not called back.

I received a call from a guy named Mark requesting information about my ponies. I have horses and ponies, none of which are for sale so have no clue what he wants. Caller ID also showed 416-439-0429 as the number but he also gave me the same call back number as Layna and Lori. My guess, major SCAMMER!
