This number just called me today i answer and said hello and no one replied like so annoying who are these people what do you want!!!! Aggggggg

I have had 3 phone calls from the 416-780-XXXX in the last 30 minutes about messages for me....I don't even use Bell.  How do I get this to stop?

Were you finally able to stop the calls?
I know who the guy is and how to reach him.

stop the calls i as well have registered a complaint with the CRTC, Bell Canada and the RCMP. Next it will be the Toronto BBB.

I don't have caller ID, got a call from this Mitch guy. Phone number they advertised was 416-532-1819. The call was coming from 416-780-8423.

I called this number back, because it was an ad, and i couldn't leave a message..mail box full. NO KIDDING...more people wanting to complain!

this is still happening, i got 2 calls this morning.
the most frustrating part is that, some of my voicemails are comming to me from this number and no longer my fido account. my fido has no voicemails for me, and now they are coming to me threw this number. its my real friend who left me a msg and came to me from this number. the phone companies say i have to call the cops, but obviously some of you already have. this is b***s***

I received a call telling me that I had two messages waiting for me.  I was subsequently played both messages.  Both messages were the same and were from a person whom I know.  I don't understand how this "voice information processing" service was able to intercept a call meant for my residential line.  I am worried that my security has been compromised.  Any suggestions as to what I should do?
I have called Bell Canada and told them of this situation.  I do not have call answer.  I have a physical answering machine, which, on subsequent testing, is working just fine.  Bell tells me that this number is a Toronto based landline.  I have called the number, but there is no way to speak with anyone.

Hope he gets the fine he deserves.

How long can it possibly take to "look into resolving this problem". We are trying to run a business here and the phone calls are extremely irritating. I sugest you stop the problem fast instead of making excuses. Here's some advise.. find another way to advertise.

Guys, do what I did.  Sign up with the Do Not Call List below.  Then after a 31 day period you can report any further calls to the CRTC.  Note, you may have to be persistent with your CRTC complaint but if you are, MITCH will get the fines he deserves.

Received a message from Universal Message Service. The message said I had a call from 416-516-4570 and I should press 1 (or hold) to continue. Of course I hung up, figuring it was a scam. According to what I've discovered, this is a marketing scam.

I received a call from 416-780-8474 re voice message on my home phone.  Call Display indicated it was from Bell Canada.  I don't have Call Answer with Bell.  I called Bell Canada and they said they were not the source.  I called the above number and it was "Actel Voice Information Processing".

Mitch, this system you have for delivery of v-mail is useless, annoying and furthermore, it doesn't recognize when it goes into v-mail.  It just keeps babbling on expecting someone to press '1'.  Everyone hates telemarketers calling on the phone Mitch, wake up and use another form of advertising.  Please post your HOME phone number here so we can call you at and have you remove our numbers from the automated delivery system!

yes Bell Canada sometimes in error picks up our SINGLE message and relays it numerous times.
This seems to happen once every 5,000 or so calls and can be extremely annoying to people such as yourself and we do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you but we have removed your number from our database and are looking into resolving this issue.

Easy you simply call the removal number but we have done that for you.
