I received a phonecall today and they said that they are the mystery shopping company. The number is 905-782-2443 and the name was Cindy Patterson. I then researched about the company and I found nothing until this web page not impressed at all!!!!!

I then research about the company and I found out that the number was a scam. I then called her back and said that I am cancelling the job. I am really thankful that this website do exist.

They posted on Craigslist about using your car for advertising. They say they will be sending you a check for 3 months of advertising, plus paying the person to put the advertising on your car. As yet I have not received the check but I am expecting it to be fake and them to want the money "up front" to pay the advertiser.

hi there im in BC canada and i see this scam has just hit us as well. i will find out more info in a couple days on my " package " that is being sent with a cheq. cant wait to take it to the RCMP and report these guys. same as you guys im being a mystery shopper. the number i got is 416 548 5555, and the number to call back on is 905 782 2443, and its in Toronto canada

These company is making calls and saying work as a mystery shopper and I will send you a cheque for $3605.00
Then you have to deposit it into you account saying it a Lobs cheque that you work for the.
After that you go to two different store. Spend $25 at and $85 at another with your debit card plus take out $1500.00 cash, go to Money mart then send it to your family member to see if they do ok. You get $300.00 for doing these three job. I went to bank and the lady said it was not a good cheque and took it from me. The exact same thing just happened to me

I just got a call from a girl named Nancy from +1 (416) 548 5555 about a job I supposedly applied for. I was feeling curious given it's a 416 number and I'm in the 514 area. She claimed to be with UNI Research, which I've never heard of or applied to. I felt so stumped about it all, I started asking her all these questions about the company and how she got my resume. She must not have liked that very much cause' she either hung up on me or disconnected. Haha, and there I was thinking I just f****d up something good. (Pheww) I haven't applied to many places. Out of all my applications this one seems to stand out as shady \/  \/  \/   Every other place I applied to has a reputable name and web site.

I got a call from this same # 416-548-5555 this was first received as a text message on my cell phone frm an Angela Urick and then I was switch to a Craig Kamsi  who represents a management company call
Heinz Management and Consulting Services at 385 The West Mall Etobicoke, On I went online to check obviously the phone # and I got all these report and then I check the address which came back as being a building for rent...anywy when I received my big cheque and called back this Craig Kamsi and told him I found out he's been calling lots of people he hung up on me...I will report all this to the canadian government fraud dept. hopefully they will catch them as I am sure they got a few peole that are not as alert as ourselves...

Scam. East Indian woman accent identified self as Amanda Scott.  Shredded paper and move on. Can't trust things that are too good to be true.

I got the same call today from 1-416-548. Looking for a job, I do have my resume in Indeed.ca. I answered the call, and I got the same offer as F.A. and Lee. I researcher the company online which "Jenniffer Williams' the caller gave me 'United Research' and provided phone number 1-416-824-3375. I found that it is a cell phone number that belongs to Fido.  The company is not real, I researched and I could not find it anywhere.
I was busy and I had people working and talking when they called, I tried to listen and answered thinking that I may get a job interview and miss the awareness that should be there.

I am glad I found this webpage with all of you brave people who cares for others, THANKS.

My advice ALWAYS DO A RESEARCH OF THE COMPANY THAT CALLED YOU TO AVOID TROUBLES AND PAIN. I hope this kind of people be stopped.

Hey ya I just got the same call about doing customer service for jobs and to go and evaluate people did it ask you to enter a pin and stuff I foundthat really weird I didnt give any info or anything the lady told me her name was nancy

Same story for me but they stole 2000$ out of my bank account. Anyone getting any call from these numbers, don't ever bother. Now i have to do investigations with bank western union and police. This is crazy and stupid. Guys, do not deal with money with them.

The girl called me last week and her was Nicky, i called her back and mentioned the negative reviews and she clearly said: don't believe all what you read.Then she hung up on me. A bi*** and a half scammer.

I got a call from this number and the girl's name is Ashley. She first said that "the company" wanted to recruit me and asked if I was still looking for a full time job and then when I asked what company she was referring to she said LOBLAWS for a chemist specialist position. I thought there was something wrong especially since I dont recall applying to loblaws for anyrhing and I said I was busy and asked if I could call her back. the number she gavr me was 416 837 2790.

You should have called the police right away.

I wonder if they can trace someone on their cellphone, which is what she is clearly using.

I got a call from this number today as well (Ashley),I just told her I have read all the negative reviews about her from the internet and that she was a scammer.She say goodbye and dropped the call.

Also how to do I report this to the police? I live in Montréal but I guess I should inform the authorities in Ontario since this seems to be happening there?

I got the same thing, a cheque for like $2488 came to me in the mail as well as instructions. I was alarmed since they said they were called Decal Industries but Decal Ind. is actually a printing company in Pickering, ON and I couldn't find anything with the name except for another site with people telling that this is a scam, so I decided to leave it. They tried to call me back but I didn't answer.
