I got a $3 charge for a 5 mins call I never made to this phone number, Oct 2012, Mobilicity.

The St. Clair Pharmacy shows up in your search because they use the number as an example on their web form of phone number formatting.

Had a charge of $2.50. Call was allegedly made on July 27th at 11:43PM EST.  Just called Bell.  They're crediting back the charge for me.

Unfortunately one cannot complete the DNCL complaint form unless one knows the source of the call (e.g. telemarketer's name, business, product, etc.).

A free-form text field is not presented on the complaint site allowing the complainant to describe the situation in any manner outside of the page's selection parameters.

The people calling may be 'spoofing' this number, so this number shows on your phone even though the callers are actually calling from a different number. I am afraid to call it back (I usually do to see what it is) because I'm afraid to be charged a fee like others who have posted on this page.

I got a call from this number today at 4:13pm, I didn't pick it up. Just don't answer unknown numbers, I know it can sometimes be legitimate but sadly this is what our society has come to. We have to get the authorities to legislate something to control these scams, so report these callers to the RCMP:

Only if we inundate the authorities with complaints and shout that "SOMETHING MUST BE DONE ABOUT THIS!!!" will they do something.

I get a message from this phone number several times a day; it's annoying!

A total scam....416-555-1212 is the number for directory assistance in Toronto. It is the phone company that is benefitting from this scam as you will be billed for making a LD call to directory assistance. How diabolical.....the criminals try to steal from people via a scam and also screw them a second time by having them charged for the scam call.

Don't pick up.

P.S. even though the area code was 416...that isn't where they are calling from. I tried to block and my great (???) Shaw call blocker told me that the number of the last caller wasn't available. That means that the call did not come from Ontario but somewhere offshore or by internet.

All of that confirms the criminal nature of the call. Don't answer and don't waste your time asking to be removed from their call list.

Got a call from this number.  Recorded messge about debt consolidation.  Said press 9 to have my number removed from call list.  Should I have pressed it or did I screw up by pressing 9.  My home number is supposed to be on the do not call list so how come I keep getting these types of calls?

This number called me? Participate in something. Press 9 to be removed from call list. So if you want to buy something and save then go ahead and watch your money disappear.

I was charged $3  on my bill for calling 416 555 1212 on FEB.19,2012. But , this call I never made,this is a scam! So,I called the customer service,the Customer Service Representative did a

I was charged $4.51+HST on my June bill calling 416-555-1212 on May 04 2011. A call witch I never made.My phone provider told me that if this number calls you and answer is an automatic charge of $ 4.51. This is clear
a scam, so I ask ? Can't this guys be prosecuted?

I've been called from this number and charged almost $ 5-6. I don't know them and I couldn't do anything when i called bellcanada about this issue!!...Just don't answer this number.

a called showed up on my september bill for $4:51 for one min. It stated it was from July 23 ,we never used directory assistance and bell was no help.
