I worked for Gerry doing some demolition.

He paid me as agreed.

Gave me $100 fro 4 hours of work.

He seemed to supervise a very thorough job.

WARNING!   This guy is a SCAMMER.  He will try to convince you to pay a deposit on the spot in order to "book the time" as he claims he is very busy.

Once he gets your deposit, you will not hear from him.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL and DO NOT DEAL WITH HIM.

i've dealt with this perryalex guy and caught him snooping thru my jacket pockets in the closet he was servicing. the ceiling was wet. he says he was moving it out of the way to work. I told him to hold by the hanger and not pockets or ask me to move it. my suspicions check out. beware

I was contacted by him yesterday to replace some garage doors for him after reading these reviews I want nothing to do with him or his buisness it's sad how somebody with this type of reputation is still in buisness. I am a legitimate contractor and can't stand to watch others rip people off for a living hopefully these people got some of there money back by now.

This guy is such a liar. I would never use him for anything. He did  job for my friend and they had to get someone to get it redone.

this sounds like a job for MIKE HOLMES from HGTV...he comes in and completes or restores your projects after a sleazy contractor takes your money and does not complete or botches a job.....I have very little faith in using someone who comes off as really competent, then proceeds to louse up the job, but expects to be paid...and you dimwits pay him instead of withholding payment until the job is completed SATISFACTORILY....

Jerry (Gerry, Perry, Alex, Johnny, John) Larocque came to our house today for a mould removal quote. After a brief walk around, he quoted us roughly $20K and left with a $3500 cheque as a down payment. After googling his name, I stumbled upon these posts. After speaking with several people who had left their emails and phone numbers, we immediately cancelled the cheque.

WE ARE ONE OF THE FORTUNATE PEOPLE. Don't let this man and his company, GIBRALTAR, screw you like he has other people.

This guy has had over 100 different accounts on kijiji, just in the last few months.

Found this in our files that matched one of the phone numbers but the names did not match yours:

Strange how you question several negative posts validity, when yours seems to be the only positive post on here(discounting the one other positive post done by a girlfriend of Gerries).
Taking into consideration that he is NOT a licensed contractor, and is not insured as a contractor (this can easily be verified), and as well his electricians and plumbers that he uses are licenced as well, So far he is battling almost aa 95% negativity rating on this board, and others...WHY TAKE THE CHANCE. True, even a stopped clock is wrong 2x a day, but with literally thousands of LICENSED INSURED contractors out there with ZERO NEGATIVE FEEDBACK....why take the CHANCE!!!!
Even if the job he does is theorhetically  perfect, if your insurabnce company finds out that you have been using unlicensed contractors, they will pull your insurance. If your house burns down, and they find out that unlicensed ciontractors have been screwing around in there, your insurance clain will not be paid.
HONESTLY...is it WORTH THE RISK???
PS-anyone who contacts me, I am MORE than happy to put you in contact with any one of the peoople he is currently being sued by.

This guy has done lots of work for me and I?ve always had a good experience. Just wondering it these claims is real or just a bunch of disgruntled people who wanted more for nothing??  

I was skeptical at first because I had paid my deposit and then came across these reviews, and I actually called a private investigator that is apparenttly looking for this owner.

I found if odd when he told me that the owner could not be found, and yet he advertises and show up to complete work.

When I asked why he was never turned in for committing this so called ?fraud?, he could not answer me straight. Well, the police actually do work and if you follow this attached link you see how ?VALID FRAUD CLAIMES? are dealt with.

I'm not sure what your complaint is with this company, but I have had them complete a few small renovations around my home and was very happy with the outcome. Further, I have recommended them to many friends and the jobs have been completed without incident.

A contract was signed and honored with every job.  Assuming that you did have a contract with the company, instead of offering up others "an address", would it not be beneficial for you to produce your contract along with receipts of payments that you made in order to have the work completed??

Which leads me to beleive that your claims are invalid...

But, no more said except that I am once very happy customer.

The person goes by JERRY, GERRY or PERRY.  

He advertises all over Craigslist, Kiijii and other classified sections.

We used him for interlock.  He took our $900 deposit and never came back.

Please beware!  If you serch this phone number of this company name, you will see dozens of people who he has taken for their deposit!
