I receive call from this number 2 to 3 times a day. Who are these people??

They called me today.
I said "hello" three times, with pauses in between.
There was no answer. Then they hung up.
I have call blocked the number now.

Calls in the morning and calls in the evening.  When you press 9 to be removed from the list it connects you to a live person. When I told them not to call my number, they responded with  they will keep calling cause they didn't like my tone.  It's some promotion company ...psd or pbc promotions something like that. I just hung up on them.

Ok, so above, I mentioned that we get calls from this and that 204 number several times a day.

I mentioned that I downloaded and installed, CallClerk.  Well, I did have to buy a new modem because the one in the laptop doesn't work properly so the disconnect tones wouldn't be sent to their auto dialers.

Now, with cheap HiRo USB modem, it's working perfectly.

It's amazing to sit back now, when this number calls!  LOL

I can hear CallClerk pick up and immediately send out the LINE DISCONNECTED Tone.  I also have the configured to follow the tone with the full LINE DISCONNECTED Tone and operator saying that this line is disconnected.

So for probably 2 days this happened and they called several times.  But finally, the last 2 calls from them, I could hear THEIR SYSTEM HANG UP!!  hehehehehehe

It's now been a full evening, day, evening and morning now with no more calls from that number.

It appears that the tones have convinced their computer that our number is non existant!  

I am highly recommending this CallClerk because it's a time saver, by it answering the phone and a stress reliever by the calls eventually stopping.

Oh, in case you're wondering, you can tell the program which numbers to block and which are "familiar". so that it doesn't do anything with good calls.

Oh, also, when a unknown number comes up (number that's not already in its database) CallClerk goes to another site like this one and runs a fast search for the number that called.  If that number is listed there as a telemarketer number (or other pain in the butt number), it auto BLOCKsl that number and sends the tone.

I'm not associated with the guy who wrote this program.  I just want to share who amazing this thing works, because I'm not kidding when I say that these A-HOLES, who so disrespectfully keep calling, were really getting me P'd off.  I now breath easly.  :)

This phone number calls my cell phone as well as my home phone once or even twice a day. If I call back it says that the number isn't in service.

I get 2 of these calls a day, most annoying!!

they call my cell at least 3 times per day, and in the middle of the night as well.

I have received many calls saying they are a duct cleaning company.  Each time I ask the gentleman to take my number off his call list.  The last 6 calls, I have requested to speak to a supervisor and have been hung up on.  When I try to call the number back it tells me it is out of service.  I have advised the man that it is a crime for them not to put me on the do not call list when requested, and he just hangs up.  It seems to be the same man each time that I am called, however they use unlisted number, private number or plainly this number and others similar.

hate this caller.keeps ringing me and when i answered,no one will speak on the other line. Annoying..

this number has called my home several times in last couple of days, when call is answered never anybody there and hangs up.

They keeping saying I won air miles reward miles and trips.

If you are in Canada, you should have your own Do Not Call registry. You should put your numbers there.

These calls are made by freaks from a boiler room. You should get a call blocker, block them and then report their number to this website https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov.

416-588-9262 is telephoning my home number up to three times every single day.  It starts some days at 8:30a.m. and again at 2p.m. until as late as 8:30p.m.  It is a recorded message that starts with:
"Congratulations....that's when I slam the phone down.

Is there any way to get rid of this number(416-588-9262). This number call my house almost 2 to 4times a day morning to evening and its so annoying. Not happy at all. This number should be banned.

I phoned the operator to complain about this no. after my 3rd call from it in 1 day. She said it's a telemarketer, and since 416 area code is from downtown Toronto, if I put my name on the do not call list, the telemarketer would be stopped from phoning me or be subject to investigation and possible fines or charges for non-compliance. I immediately phoned the do not call list, but it takes up to 31 days to "kick in". Here's the ph no., and I hope it helps us get rid of this A-hole (pardon my french) 1-866-580-3625. It's an automated message but doesn't take long to register. Once you register it's good for 5 yrs, but it only governs Canadian telemarketers. I've heard out-of-country telemarketers get this list to then harass us, but I'm so sick of getting this 416 call. The other option is to pay more for my phone service where I can have certain area codes blocked from calling my number.
