This number calls 3 times a day everyday.Looking for person who ownes house (you can always get that on mailing address)
He ,sometimes she states it is a charity (Would not say which charity it is ) I have a call display so I am able to avoid answering but at somepoint  I am going to pick up and say calmly sorry can not help your charity as I donate enough to who I wish to.
At one point I remember somebody questioned me Which charity you donate (clearly confrontation on their part) I said calmly I beg your pardon? person backed off saying it is okay you don't have to say and hung up.
Charity organizations are supposed to be humble but these are telemarketers who get commision on fundraising.
World has changed really.

received a call from this number 416 628 4564 today saying that they were working on our computer and asked or the person at home to turn it on, she said no and he" David" said he will call back later. Sounds like serious fraud

It's tough out there, I know. I called the police about them today and they said that they would check into it to see if it is legitimate or not. Guy's if you suspect a scam get these guys to give you as much information as you can and then call the police. Seriously, warning people on the internet is great but you need to take more action than that if you want to take scammers down.

Is that only speculation or is it a fact?

i try to remove my number from the automate service and it keeps giving me the wrong number. i can not enter it manual because of privicy inssue. this is very upsetting.

everyday calling different time and very anoying

I got a call from this number on my home phone.  I wasn't home to answer and they didn't leave a message.  I called the 1-800 number mentioned earlier in this thread and added my number to their do not call list, so we will see if they stop calling.

Called today, asked for someone in our household. When I asked him to hold, he scoffed and casually said 'Sure, why not?'. In my mind I'm just wondering how the Toronto Police were so laid back. When I asked to take a message, he asked if I was over 18. Said yes and he begun to talk about a Christmas party for underprivileged children and asked if I could donate $60 for two kids or $25 for one kid. Not knowing how to politely reject this guy, I told him I wasn't sure and he asked if I had a job. As if assuming I was over 18, I had a job. Said no and said he'd call back. I think I'll fart in the phone and tell him I'll donate that the next time they call.

I called the automated service for this number over a week ago, requesting that I be added to their do not call list.They are still calling.

Got a call from this numebr today.  I answered. Caller was very polite and said they were calling from the Toronto Police Association; not the Firefightgers.

Get called all the time. when i said the person who was asked for was not home they listed off a bunch of possible relations (ie. are you her daughter? sister? mother? etc.) when i said i was her partner the guy responded with "oooOOOOooo must get hot around there!" HOW INAPPROPRIATE! I hung up immediately... does anyone have a number where I can call and make a complaint to a person as well as be taken off this list!?

: I am beging to ask myself that these calls are computer generated by the very sites that alow us to post coments about these numbers as you can see all sites that alow us to post coments do nothing for us but they are getting paid by the advertiser to run the site supply and demand I think we are being hoodwinked these sites are the only place we can go to make a complaint nothing gets done yet we are making sure that these sites get paid because we have no where else to go we are beingh coned by the very advertiser on this site and all others like supplly and demand we demand awnsers and these sites led us to belive that they can help I would pay a fee to find out who is calling me I find it hard to belive that the phone companys cannot tell us who is the owner of these numders and they the phone companys already get paid enormous amonts of money and thy dont need third party advertisers t get paid just a thought but think about it you get the call and where do we go to these sites that are getting paid by the very advertiser on this site and the sites are as useless as the calls we get wake up we are being coned

i got a call last night from that phone number at 9:30 p.m they need to stop calling them and all those other people that are calling me that just stay mute on the phone

Toronto Fire Department refused to speak to me when I said my parents English isn't that well. I was doubting they're actual fire department people and just a scam.

They call for money from my dad that passed away last year. HAVE SOME RESPECT AND GET MY NUMBER OFF YOUR BUGGING LIST. IF the Gov was helping..., well Never mind then.

I said hello.He said he wants to speak to Dennis.I asked who's calling.He hung up.These phone calls are from the fire department or the retired police association.Any way to stop these calls.No one picks up when i dial back the number.They call almost everyday.
