didn't answer

they call and then when i pick up they dont answer and hang up. when i call back multiple times it rings and goes to voicemail.

I answered, and they claimed They needed to talk to the owner of the house, the reason they gave was to do with the insurance.

Same for me... when I pick up they hang up... I call back several times and it just goes to voicemail.

I've been getting calls from this number for days now. They ask to speak to the owner of the house. I do not give information over the phone ever! Today I called the number back (416) 637-8498 and a male voice answered "hello". Something is fishy about this.

Called me yesterday, left a message on my answering machine, just calling my name.." Donald,,,Donald,,,Donald" How did he get my name and number, I am in the 418 area code??

Receive a call from this number almost on a daily basis, when you answer the phone, no one is there, assume it is a computer calling.  Have called back number and left voice mail message to remove our telephone number from their database, whoever they may be.

Yesterday, someone called me from this no. Accdgly, she is from Enersource, verifying some information. She got my account no., address and my name. would you know why?

I have had regular calls from this number. I don't deal with telemarketers and this number"416-637-8498" got a simple no thanks from me the first time and they keep calling back. When I answer the phone, they ask for the owner of the house or they say nothing and eventually they hang up. I called back this number today while blocking my own number and a male voice answered "Hello". IMO, this is not a business phone number and I suspect the people making these frequent and annoying calls are up to no good. They should be reported but in any case, do not give any information about yourself to them. That should be a standard policy for telemarketers as there are a lot of scammers out there. This is a real (probably residential) phone number and not a computerized telemarketer. Beware!

this is for you John from Manulife... i will f u if you called my number again!  so annoying.. especially when i am sick and have to drag myself to the phone to answer your s***. these ppl do not know how annoying they are. gosh.. why can ppl have a decent job?

Received call from 416-637-8498 1/2 hr. ago. Said he was John from Manulife. Told him I wasn't interested.  This is our second call this week. Told me they got our # from their research Dept. which is possible as we bought out of province insurance last year from them, so they would have our phone #.

why certain company keep calling from 1-416-637-8498?
They always said they want to verify some bill information. Is this legal?
Why they have our home phone number, and what do they want to do?

The first time when I got this phone call, I told them the hydro bill information. Later, they call again, and once again.

Why there is such company doing such ugly things? what do they want to get?
