Now I am getting call from 416-235-6666.  Do not know how to stop it!  Previously, I blocked 416-644-1040 and never picked my phone from this call.

This person has my cell phone and Canda is not covered under my plan and therefore; I pay 40 cents per minute when I get a call from this MF.

Can someone advice how to over come this issue.  Also, what is the number to call for "Do Not Call List" to register?

We are aware that many people have been receiving phone calls that appear to be coming from our main number 416.644.1040. These phone calls have NOT been made by our company or any of our staff or consultants. This has been confirmed through our telephone service provider, Primus.  In an effort to determine if our phone system had been breached by an external hacker, on Thursday, October20th, 2011, our entire telephone system had its power supply turned off, yet calls were still being received and the caller ID continued to show our number.  Clearly calls were not coming from our system as it was entirely powered down during this time.  The further investigation into this matter has determined that this activity is what?s known as Caller ID Spoofing, whereby the caller can make it look like you are being called by any number they choose by making it appear on your call display. The matter has now been escalated as follows.

This number has been dialing in reularly for over a month with the same "no response" when answered. Realized that it was a weird way to receive a call while not leaving any message if it was important. Would like to see this stop as soon as possible because it is disruptive. If Matchpoint is not the responsible party then what can be done to resolve this issue for them and the rest of us being harrassed?

I have never gone to the extent to actually post on a website about anything however this has become excessive. I have been getting a call from this number since the 14th of Oct. If I get one more call, I am going to the authorities. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST for a reason. I have rights and I know how to protect them. You have crossed the line. If this was "someone" the authorities would have tracked them down by now, which is what will happen with your organization. Please please make these calls stop so I do not have to go through this process. (but I will)!

I am getting calls from this number every alternate day and they talk about my resume ....
i really don't know who they are and what they talk. If i ever get a single call from that number again,i am going to report it to police.

have also gotten four calls from this number since 10/14.  First time around, I answered and heard nothing on the other line.  Have since let this call go to voicemail but would love it to just stop.

I also received multiple calls from this number. Every day for 2 weeks.

Also, and maybe related, I receive calls from a 602 area code number. When I answer there is no one on the other end. Not sure how to end it all, but I'll be ignoring them from now on.

Further I want to clear up any misconceptions on this blog. We have provided a free and valuable service for more than 5 years now and clearly the post you are referencing is the work of person(s) wishing to discredit us in some fashion. Possibly a competitor. We only charge fees to our franchisors, not clients for whom our service is offered for free. I am open to dialogue with you personally to answer any other questions at my email address stated above.

I get calls every couple of days from this number. No one responds when I answer but there's noise in the background. I call back and get a message the mailbox is full.

This is a scam. As written above, it's this Match Point company. They call incessantly, never stop. Need to figure out who to contact in Toronto to deal with them

It's a franchise selling scam called MatchPoint out of Toronto Canada, which is how the scammers claim they are not subject to the Federal Do Not Call list. Basically, a bunch of crooks.

I keep getting called from this number and when I answer there is no response.  I would like to have these calls stopped immediately.

This number calls me every day at the same time. There is never anyone on the line. If I don't pick up they don't answer it. It's from some company called Matchpoint. If you call the number, you can't get a human. But you can get into the company directory if you press #. Then you can just try to guess people's name. Spelling Johnson gets you to a voicemail box but I have yet to find a live person.

Received two calls from this number in the past week.  Did not answer and they left no message.  When I call them back get a recording stating "you have reached the corporate offices of matchpoint".  The operator is not available and the mailbox is full.  I try randomly punching in extension numbers and none of them are valid.  I almost want to answer next time to see what jerks are ignoring the do not call list.

Someone called me at 3:20 a.m. unaware of the 6 hour time difference. The owner of the company is Nigel Mayne and you can reach him buy dialing # and his last name. Left him a message to remove me from his calling list. We'll see what happens...

Got a call from this number. I couldn't tell whether there was someone on the other end when I answered and it cut off after a few seconds.

It might not be the right lead, but it happened shortly after unsuccessfully trying to download a game from my mobile, which I never do.
