WERE SORRY THE NUMBER YOU HAVE REACHED IS NOT IN SERVICE, PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER OR TRY AGAIN.

its a spoof number you dumbass

They called me today Jan 13 at 7pm.
They called to offer 1% credit back credit card with no service charge etc.

The fishy part about this number is that once i said i was not interested he said thank you and hung up.  

I worked in a credit card call center before and usually if the customer says no we have to go through atleast 3 rebuttals trying to give them reasons why it would benefit them.

got a ring from this number, no VM left ...when dialled saying not in service....

This number just called my house, didn't answer it,no VM left!

The number called me 4 times in 1 week ... hung up 2 times when I picked up
It must be Scotiabank Visa .....I do have a credit card with them & have not made any transactions for a while.... people are saving during the recession so they should know this is good for the big banks ! Still annoying when they call so many times

picked it up, said hello twice and heard the click of being taken off hold. hung up. 8:00pm on a friday night.

I got this call today and like 'Spruce' says they understood me in the first instance that i was not interested.

But, usually call centers calling to make a sale are to make 3 rebuttals to try to get customers to sign up.

These guys were understanding which makes wonder.

I'm pretty sure it's blockbuster with an automated message telling you to return your late DVD's

Scotia Bank representative following up on pre-approval of $XXXX visa scotiacard.  Courteous and understanding of my decision of not accepting the offer.

Got this phone call too. Multiple times. And they're calling my cell which is annoying. It's Scotiabank. They're also calling from 888-882-3811

WHY WOULD A BANK CALL NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE AND WHY WOULD THE BANK HAVE A NUMBER THAT IS NOT IN SERVICE. I TRIED TO CALL BACK WITH OUT LUCK.  "WERE SORRY THE NUMBER YOU HAVE CALL IS NOT IN SERVICE PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER OR TRY AGAIN"
I DO NOT THINK IT IS THE BANK BECAUSE OF THIS ALSO IF IT WAS NOT IMPORTANT THEY WOULD NOT HAVE TRIED TO REACH ME THREE TIMES TODAY WHILE I WAS IN THE UNDERGROUND.  NO MESSAGE WAS LEFT AND I THOUGHT IT WAS MY PHONE BECASUE IT WENT DEAD ... OR BECAUSE THEY HUNG UP...SO WEIRD

This number called me today.  I didn't pick it up because I didn't recognize it.  They didn't leave a message, & Canada411.com says it's not a listed number.

It's Scotiabank. Not sure what they wanted.

This number just called me too. I wasn't at home, so didn't pick up the phone.

This number just called me too.  I picked up the phone and no one says anything.  So I call back and says this number doesn't exist.

That number called my house today too, I didn't answer the phone, but no message was left.

Does anyone know the owner of this phone number? Thanks!
