I rec'd 2 calls, Fri and Sat both between 4-5pm EST. Didn't answer.

These 407 area code numbers are call centres representing several different companies. The most annoying however is Deluxe international windows and doors. I get 4 calls a day, all week, sometimes late at night often with hang ups. When you do get someone they're east indian and can barely speak english or answer any questions.

I've asked them to remove me from their calling list several times. They still keep calling.
So here's what I have done and what I suggest you do.

Make an appointment for an appraisal... make several.... and don't be home. Waste their time. If their appraisers are showing up at no show appointments all day, their sales will suffer and they'll either 1) go out of buisness or 2) stop using the call centre.

Also if you really want to be punitive, here's their address and an employee name. Send them junk mail, send lots. Filll out their names on ballots at trade shows or for info packages for whatever. When you find yourself bored, or waiting for your kids or husband, call their head office. Call them every chance you get. Waste their time. Jam their lines with nonsense and get even.

i have gotten a call from this number 3 times now..the first time i missed it and no message was left..the second time someone called it was a guy, and asked for someone i didnt know..then today i got a call again and it was a woman asking for someone else, not the same person as the first time..
very wierd..

We have received these calls - I am letting them ring through.  Creepy, though. Wish we could stop receiving them.  More problems since we registered with the DNC (Do not call) list that the government says is compromised.  Thanks, guys!

I got a call at 9:05 PM  didn't answer then got a call from 416-973-0632 govt gouv cnd at 9:14 did not answer either one. No messages left.

Man said he was calling for Sunnybrook Foundation and hung up when I started asking him questions.

These Calls are from June 6 2008 to June 24 2008, two or three calls a day, seven days a week. The Locations and such came from reverse look up and I’m not totally sure if they are accurate. Some are hang ups, others are automated and the ones I talk to don’t take me off their list as requested. There doesn’t seem to be any way to prevent their calling. I call family and they don’t bother answering their phone because they think it’s a marketer.
I believe that I’m just confirming that my phone is active for more phone scams.

I get calls from 416-645-6746 every day.  Yesterday, the call was followed almost immediately by another from 416-665-1377, another "dead air" situation that happens a lot.

They just called me too....
no response.

Receive several of these per week; no answer on the few occasions we pick up.

I had so many calls from this number I finally called it. There is a message  that identifies them Strategic Communications Fund Raising and Polling Company - working for not-for-profit organizations.

The message also says you can have your number removed by leaving it, as a message.  It will take approximately 5 days.

Called in the name of St. Michael Foundation and asked for a donation using master card, visa or amex. Beware guys.

Same thing.  I got a call from 416-645-6746 as well.  I don't have caller id but could hear the "message" (dead air) and then pressed "reply" to get the number.  It's interesting to see that it's happening to lots of people.

This number's been calling my cell for 2 days straight.  Dead air when I pick up.  SOOO annoying!!

They phoen about 2 times a day. 411 reverse look up doesn't give a listing.

Calls usually on a Saturday afternoon. Last time was July 5/08 at 2:22PM CT
Rang for 4 minutes until I gave up and answered. Dead air and then a click and more dead air. Very frustrating!

I recently moved out of my parents house and my mom said an older woman called there and asked for me with the number 416-645-6746 and when my mom asked to take a message she wouldn't tell her anything she just said it was personal.

3 nights in a row, each call at around 7pm-8:30pm, 416-645-6746, missed each call but no voicemail left.  Pesky.
