This phone number calls non-stop. I am sick of being inturupted during the day. They leave no messages. Clearly it is telemarketing or its a scam.

it is someone trying to promote the Guelph Mercury ..
I was almost ready to call the Ministry of Consumer Services as they were calling 3 times a day and hanging up...  I am on a "do not call" list and don't want soliciting I have not ever dealt with the Guelph Mercury.
I did not know who it was that was calling as they would hang up when I would get to the phone and say hello... I was beginning to think it was a prank... when they finally answered .. I had to tell them about 5 times NO.... I am NOT INTERESTED before they finally got the message....  and I asked them to remove me from their internal list of names .. so if they don't I will call and complain to the Ministry.....
definitely annoying .....

Everyday they call..great how the do not call list is working.

Guelph Mercury, which is owned by Torstar now, offering a subscription.  Spoke to them and declined their offer--we'll see what happens now.

a***oles called at 9pm on a monday night...didnt leave a message. if it is the guelph mercury they need to f*** off as i have told them many times i do not want to subscribe.

Get at least 3 calls per day from this number at all times.I called it back but it disconnects after 3 rings. Who should I report this to so it will stop?

How can we stop getting calls from this number.
We are receiving calls practically every day
from this number ... we answer ... no response
and then a disconnect.

They keep calling us! It's 9 pm and in the past 30 minutes they have called twice.  Call, we pick up, they hang up.  I tried calling that number back - there is no answer; it keeps ringing and then it hangs up once again.
It's a pain the royal a**; we have an infant at home and every time they've called, she wakes up. Quite annoying.

Call offering special on Guelph Mercury.  Asked to be removed from list as our number is on the Do Not Call list.  Was given a confirmation number for the removal.

Have had several calls from 416-646-8795 which go to dead air when picked up. I want this caller TO STOP CALLING ME. It is agravating and certainly would not garner any business for the owner. In fact, if I continue to be harrased, I will lodge a complaint with Bell and Allstream who I believe to be the carrier.

This call came at 1:10 pm on a Saturday ....no answer on pickup.  This number comes from a promotional company acting for the Guelph Daily Mercury, a daily local newspaper.  Not appreciated when resting or doing another task and interupting you

Call at 6:05pm no one on the other end. They call often but don't leave a message.

Call at 8:20PM - nobody on line, no response, hang-up.
Bad example of telemarketing

they called me and did not leave a message. Sounds like a telemarketing company.

Same, this number called into our message system, and each call they made (4) within an hour, they did not leave a message and it went to dead air.

I received a call from this number ... they are telemarketers (for me it was for the Guelph Mercury) I called and asked that my number be removed she did so and provided me a confirmation number. Was a pleasant phone call.
