This is TCR (Total Credit Recovery) - a collection agency that uses threats and intimidation to try to get you to give them money because they have no real legal recourse. Never acknowledge that you owe because legally you owe this agency nothing unless you acknowledge you do.

TCR  called again. I dont pick up ..I made consider a more than ample payment to Rogers after I cancelled their service and Returned their equipment. They still wanted to bill me for almost two months even though the services were cut off and I had changed back to Bell. This company has been reported so many times I often wonder why no one has stopped them. C'mon CTRC do your job.

This number is TCR a collection company working for Rogers Com.They call anytime and are very rude. Tonites call was at 8:59pm. I was not pleasant with the person.

Legitimate? Doubt that. They have been calling and harassing me non-stop for months now. I have NEVER had anything to do with them. I don't owe money to ANYONE and I resent you calling them "legitimate" when clearly they are not. My name is so unique (hint: it's not Maya) that I have only once in my life encountered another person with my same first name. It's clearly impossible that it would be coupled with my last name.

They are cold calling. Period. And I resent the heck out of that.

Bahahahaha!!!! The statute of limitations (2 years in Ontario) has kicked in. They have no legal recourse anymore. Never ever admit to the debt. Most collection agencies won't spend the money to sue. All bark and no bite, they would rather try and bully the money out if you (it's cheaper for them). So let the phone ring, big deal. They usually try for 3 to 4 months then sell it off to the next collection agency. Unfortunately, there is no time limit for agencies to try and collect zombie debt so the calls may continue for a while. Keep paying on the things that matter - your car, mortgage, etc. that will restore your credit rating faster. Repaying these scum bags does nothing but reset the clock. 5 years from last payment and it's off of your credit score. DONT PAY!!

This number has been calling me since I got this new numer. Sometimes leaves messages looking for someone else to talk about her bussiness matter. So I called back to let them know that they have the wrong number and the lady who picked up the phone was so rude!!! She didn't apologize for harassing me for the last 2 months. Anyway, she told me that she would remove my number from the list which will take at least 48 hours. We will see!!

I got a call from 1-416-756-2361. A man asked for my name wishing to speak to me regarding "a personal business matter". I asked them what the personal business matter was about and and they refused to disclose it because it was "personal" unless they talked to the personal they were asking for. I later discovered they were a collection agency who actually called me a few previous times that I missed. They were collecting a cellphone debt that I had already payed out fully but the stupid cellphone company were charging late fee's that were hidden and this collection agency is collecting that late fee. Stupid to say that the cellphone company sold this collection agency my late fee which was not necessary when we agreed on an amount already.

Do NOT Call them back

Collection Agency.  Just ignore them if your debt is more than 2 years old = passed the statute of limitations for debt collection.  Your original creditor has up to two years to take you to small claims court.  The two years are up so they sold your file to a collection agency.  If you the collection agency and acknowledged the debt, then they can take you to court and the two year clock starts ticking again.  JUST IGNORE THEM!

My wife got a call today from this number asking for me and left this number 416-756-2361 ext.5081 to call him back and my wife keeps asking why he is calling but he wont say why, all he says is his name Adam. I think it has something to do with crooked company Rogers, i cancelled all of my Rogers services last May which my bill used to be around $100 when i cancelled Rogers i got a bill for $185 plus another bill of $290 for another month after my cancellation,plus $400 for some penalties for cancellation, so i not payed the last one because i never signed and i never asked and always mention i dont like any agreement with you guys(Rogers)

My husband got a call from 4167562361 asking for me saying they had been trying to get in contact with me for some time now. Funny thing is this was the first I have ever heard of them.

I recieved this message the same day that I got a new phone and set it up with the service provider. I don't know how they got this number before anyone else. A man said that "it looks like you have been trying your best to avoid this, but I urge you to take the time to call me back TODAY at 1 888 725 9898." Several days later a woman, also from TCR left a message urging me to call by 9 am tomorrow. I have no outstanding debts so it is either a canvas call or they are looking for someone else.

these guys call at all hours and I am getting awakened in the middle of my sleep. I do not owe them any money and anyone I do owe gets paid direct to them by me. I have the right to not pay them and EVEN if they bought the account from my debtor I am not bound by any law to pay them a cent, as much as they protest to the contrary. Know your rights and stop the harassment. block their call.

Total Credit Recovery is a debt collector -  they purchase your delinquent account from who ever  it is you owe money to and then they get a***oles on the phone who bully you into paying some amount per month untill its all paid up- often using manipulation tactics and fear and guilt and sometimes telling you how great its gonna be for your credit to have this all paid up. Usually it's a room full of greasy smelly bullies who can't find a job anywhere else, so they use their ignorance to make a living bullying people to pay up,leveraging the illusion they are collecting on behalf of the original company, but really the original company doesn't see a dime because the account has already been sold to tcr for pennies on the dollar. Once I learned that large companys actually have "bad debt insurance" who pay for any bad debt they incurre then I realized the debt got paid anyway, so there was no need for me to pay it again....That's what insurance is for.....

Yes , this number calls me probably regarding a bill of some sort from the past from an aquaintence. What should we do to stop the calls? Any ideas.  .

I love this site !!!! :-D  Yes it's Total Credit Recovery (TCR)  and all they can do to you is threaten and harass you. Block or don't answer their calls - if you do answer it will just confirm to them that they have a live connection and they will call unceasingly thinking that you will finally get so bothered that you will send them money. And no matter what they said before you send money - after you do the calls won't stop, they will increase because they will smell blood (money) and they will add fees and other charges and continue to pressure you for money for ever

They called the first time, i googled it and saw it was a scam and blocked their number on my blackberry. They just called again but were immediately disconnected. I love my number blocking application!

Received a phone call from that number.
The person represented himself as Huan and left a phone number and ext.3299 to call back.

What a f****ng they doing. I got same problem.

This number keeps on calling me. They dont leave a message and when you try to speak to them they place you on hold and start asking personal information. Like address, postal code, proper spelling of first and last name. When you ask why they are calling, they ignore you and keep on asking questions.....

This is a recovery agency. They do not leave behind a voice mail assuming that everybody wants to run away from them. When they get you they adopt an aggressive stand to confirm and threaten all to recover a frivolous claim that was sold to them by a corporation.........

These people call ALL THE TIME for my mom.
They called my house one morning at 7:15am.
I am NOT a morning person, so they DID NOT enjoy when I answered the phone.

They call all the time, and one day my mom actually answered. They put her on hold, and after about five minutes she just hung up.

Like, why are you calling her, just to stick her on hold.
We all have NO patience at my house. Ugh.

Honestly, everyone is saying Virgin Mobile? My mom's never had a Virgin Mobile account.
Oh well, too bad for them.

This number is a debt collector. Even if they get the wrong person, they screw with your day. Don't answer this number.

Called at 7:30pm did not pick up no message.

So I've been getting calls from them for two weeks..
Only the 1st time I picked up, heard a rude auto message, the same everyone is explaining.
I never called the 888 number back.
I do have some debts, but this just seems too fishy to me.
Is this thing real??
