I've just received a phone call from this number. They called me at 6:30 am, and when I called their bluff and hung up they immediately called back... twice! I've now blocked them from calling my house, but these people should be prosecuted.

these are fraud calls,nobody can tell you your computer has been comprimised,not even microsoft,they get your # and name from sellers,and they know you have a computer and will try to show you that you have a problem and try to sell you a bogus fix,play along with them,but do not give any info,just say things like wow im glad you called,and can you fix this,and keep them on the line for a long time,pretending that they have you hooked,ask lots of stupid questions,and then after they have waisted a lot of time,tell them you work for microsoft and would like to know who they are.they will hang up.and usually you wont get this call again for a few months.

These "fraud - window's" people that are calling from these #'s : 416-783-0444 or 435-764-8783 are fake! fake! fake! DO NOT turn on your computer for them!!! OR GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY WILL STEAL ALL YOUR COMPUTER INFO., banking info., passwords, send a virus etc.. This is what I have done in the past... I called their bluff and said, "I know you guys are a SCAM so quit calling this number or I will report you to the Police!" That seems to stop them calling for a few months. I also put them on my Call Block List.

You dont unless you can block the number. Just tell your mom when these people call to say "no thanks" and hang up on them.

Got this call again. Same as all above posts....computer issue. What can we do? I just told him to bugger off but I'm sure that's not gonna' work. Odd that the calls don't show an area code.

7-8 mornings now at 7:30--finally answered. Indian accent saying the same, to turn on my computer, so they can fix something. When she said I can call back, I told her NEVER to call again. What is this?

received 8 call this week.....3 before 7am....two this morning. They are saying your name and then that they are with windows and I am having a computer problem they are to help with.....when I say do not call this number again - they hang up.......very heavy accent voice and almost rude when they are speaking. if this is "for real call" let me knowl. what I don't like is there is no area code showing on caller ID.
