lady said she had many calls about people complaining that shes calling them for Air Duct Cleaning. She sounded frustrated and wants to know why her number is on the internet for this scam.

These jerks don't care because the CRTC is a joke. Look at their website and you will see that they have fined a total of about 8 companies in the past 3 years.

You can file complaints until the cows come home but the CRTC will do absolutely nothing.

Good luck calling the CRTC. They have endless menu trees and you never get to talk to anyone.

I think the only option is to have them come to the house but never be there. Eventually they will stop calling, i hope.

I've been on the "do not call list" for over a year and  I still get calls. I have made complaints. Any other solutions? Honestly, I am asking....I am beyond frustrated.

I just got another call from these guys...as soon as you ask them to remove your number from their calling list, they hang up on you!!! I just want to stangle these !@#$%^&* people!!  In the past when they've called the 416-800-3383 number would appear, now they show up as Unknown number...wtf??? I have added my number to the CRTC no call list...alot of good that does. I am so fed...how can these people be stopped???

I just got my third call from them. The number this time was 416-902-7794. I told the guy this is your third call and I have politely requested that you take me off the list. His response was F*** You. I said excuse me? He said you heard me F*** YOU!
Nice and apparently no one can do anything about it even when someone is verbally abusive to you..

How do we make these a***oles stop calling? They have been calling every week (several times once or twice to) to our house for well over a year now. I have tried to be nice, I have tried to be mean. Now I just hang up! Is there no end to it?

I just mash the key pad until they get annoyed and hang up.

I have had it with Air Duct Cleaning Services calling my house at all times of the day. My wife is disabled and often is roused from resting to answer a call only to have them on the phone selling air duct cleaning services.  When she tries to inform them we are on a national do not call list, they hang up. We have registered a complaint with the CRTC but the calls still come in.

I have now told my wife the next time they call to make an appointment and I will be sure to be there when they come to my house. AIR DUCT CLEANING SERVICE PROVIDERS- you are warned. You come on to my property to fulfill any contract from anybody selling AIR DUCT CLEANING SERVICES-you are fair game. I will confiscate anything you have on your person, any equipment you may have with you will be destroyed if on my property and you will be charged with trespassing- I will make a citizens arrest and take my chances when using whatever force I need to use to make sure you go nowhere until the police show up. And I will make sure you go nowhere until the police arrive. The CRTC has had their chance to stop this and havent. I will take my chances in court if needed to stop your harassing my family and am prepared to do whatever is necessary to make sure this happens.

I get these calls at least five times a week usually when eating dinner. I have told them repetedly I dont have ducts. When I asked wjere they were calling from they said the UK. Now I am going to set up an appointment every time they call. no call list is a joke!

I get a lot of calls from air duct cleaning services may be 10 times a week. Today I got a call from 416-252-4366 for duct cleaning and I said I am not interested and within few minutes the same voice call me again and this time the no was 1-905-000-1234. I was frustrated and got upset and will you beleived me that young chap was using all the bad words. When I dial these nos it says the call cannot be completed, obviuoly this are calls using internet. Some time I get a call from 1-647-954-1615.

I need help in stopping these calls. It is really upsetting we kepp getting these calls, sometimes late into the nights.

I get calls 4 to 5 times a w/k from Air Duct Cleaning I tell them every time that I not interested and I am on the do not call list please remove my # from your list.

Unfortunately, I have complained to CRTC twice already and have just put in a third. I'm thinking they must be calling from out of country and don't have to comply.

Good for you, I too continue to receive calls from the Air Duct Cleaning Company... Tonight I told them I had 16 bedrooms, 4 kitchens, 5 bathrooms, and a small city in my basement... The next time they call I am going to waste as much time as possible

I just set up an appt with them and they drove up from Toronto to Nwmkt in fairly bad weather. I invited them in to show them that I do not even have ducts in my house. I have had it as I have told them 3 times a week that I do not have ducts in my house. I have reported them to the CRTC: any more calls and I will keep setting up appointments and they can keep showing up until they get it !!!. Everyone should do this and their contractors who perdorm the work will soon straighten them out...

i am getting calls from this F****** Duct cleaning company and they are abusing the phone system here in canada.. the government should do somthing about this type of calls..
this company is calling me every 4 days or 5 days and i am telling them not to call or remove me from the list.. it looks like they don;t f****ng undrestand anything..

There's Mr. Virgil Ottis - the one who runs this business and happens to offer help in stopping their calls.

He's a fraud.

There is no do-not-call list.  Mr. Ottis is calling us regardless.

Feel free to report him to the CRTC and Industry Canada - they have laws in place to deal with him.

This DUCK CLEANING guy is such a big A...hole. I got the same harassement like you guys for a few months .Now I use google chat to place hundreds of calls to him ,regardless day or in the middle of the night with 2 PCs, ring continuously to let him know how pissed it is ,how good his game is until he has to put this number out of service.

This number keeps calling and don't leave a message.
