I also recieved a letter and a check today.  Bummer, I could have used $50,000, but then again, who doesn't.  I guess that since there are six of us posting and there supposed to be only 5 winners, that this is a good indication that we are being scammed.  I have not tried to call yet.  I'm not sure if I will just for the hell of it.  The number that I have is different.  It is 647-219-3256.  The letter directs me to a Bob Page as well and is signed by a Mr. Maria Owen.  Yeah.  Mr. Maria.

RECEIVED LETTER TO CLAIM $250,000 AND THIS ONE WAS TO ASK MONEY TO PROCESS MONEY AND THREMN HUNG UP

Received a check for 2,500 to be drawn from JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A. from Giant Merchandising.   It's suppose to be for paying taxes for winning the Australian Lottery Games of which the winnings is suppose to be $50,000.

Called the number 416-834-2816 spoke with "Kane Brown"  who also had a very heavy middle eastern accent.

Interesting that the check had my last and first name in reverse order.

Sounds like a scam and a waste of time.

same here. got a check also for 4550.00 and same company and person to call is BOB PAGE. i called him back and told him that the money (3000.00) is ready (which is not) and instructed me to send it thru money gram and sent it to:

the amount to be sent is 2,950.00.
so this is really a scam.......

Called the number back and was told after cashing the check to keep 3000 for taxes.  Was also told, that the rest of the money would be sent by Fed Ex, with instructions in it as to where to send the money.  I am going to talk to an attorney tom.  to see if the check is valid.  Then I am going talk to someone at JP Morgan Chase Bank.  If this is a scam, I'm sure there is something they can do so this doesn't happen again.

received the same letter. followed up on it with JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A. to verifiy the check.. finding out that the routing number of the $4,550 dollar check is infact JPMorgan's but the acct number was a fake. did we all get the same check number 52482? and is there anyway we can or how we can notify the authority?

yea man. i got a check too. s*** i need those 4550. the hell with the 50,00. can i cash this? will i get in trouble/ holla at me.

bob sent me a letter

Received a letter from Price and Award Presention, International Claim Department Chase Lottery Incorportation, 1420 Clarke Blvb. Toronto, ON M1J 2p5.

Letter stated I was 1 or 5 declared winners, who won $50,000.  Asked if they were associated with Chase Bank (which they were not), asked how my name got into the lottery, asked what my instructions were to claim the money, and the guy hung up.  He has a thick accident for someone named Bob Page.  They called back 5 minutes later but I did not pick up.
